Great read, check it out. - StephenChow, on 10/12/2007, -8/+34Draught could've bought beer for over 10,000 underprivileged children with the money they spent on that ad.
- dagnabbit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+24We'll miss you.
- AllnightChemist, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21I don't think they like the cut of your jib, xero.
- PDelahanty, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20...and if you could have spotted it on Google Earth. ;)
- nutt318, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20Is it Friday Yet?
- washingtonydc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17I wish more things were made from beer.
- crawfishsoul, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Another ad from Calton. Features fat guy in tights flash dancing. Click it, go on, you know you want to.

- mvanhorn, on 10/12/2007, -8/+21Brilliant. I wonder how many extras they used for this and how much of it was cg
- dancpsu, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14It has also been parodied here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNiQ11J39VQ
- warmonger48, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12When did Peter Jackson start directing beer commercials?
- ringo380, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12The general mindset that I use when deciding to digg a comment up or down, which I think a lot of other people go by as well, is whether it contributes in any way at all. Basically, I ask myself if this is something that I would care to read if I were going through the comments for the first time.
I used to browse Slashdot a lot, and something that was nice about it was that the visible comments were almost always really, really good in one way or another. That way I can just tune out the *****.
So I pretty much try to go by that same principle. Your comment may not necessarily be bad or wrong.. but if it doesn't contribute, then I digg it down. I should add that I consider good humor to be contributing (+5 funny?). - zero01101, on 10/12/2007, -4/+14best use of "o fortuna" ever.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Ah, it's for an Australian beer! It figures. ;)
- 4NDr01D, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9how is Carmina Burana a lyrical stretch for a beer ad ?
The whole second act is about drinking beer at the pub and falling in love with hot womens

And no, it wasnt CGI, for all those who keep saying they think it is. - noseeme, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10It's almost 5 AM in Tokyo... o_o
- AxeSwinger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I ascribe to the sex principle when it comes to beer and pizza. When it's good it's real good and when it's bad it's still pretty good.
- mistercharlie, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Damn! That was a big ad.
And it made me thirsty :) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Not bad.
- teckjunkie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7http://isitfriday.net
BEST WEBSITE EVER. - klawz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Guinness tastes better, but this ad rocks.
- Alphateam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6They just need the little yellow guys to run out the other end now.
- deuceswilde, on 10/12/2007, -7/+13LOL, I knew what ad this was the second I read the description, it's really a genuinely cool and brilliant idea, and they have other ads that are pretty funny elsewhere if you search for them.
Also, why so many comments dugg down, for people just inserting their opinion it doesn't really warrant a thumbs down. This adds to my theory that the majority of people who rate comments on digg, especially the first ones to rate a story, are dicks. Not only that but they need to prove their importance by discounting everyone else opinion. So digg me down.... Dicks - debtman7, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6
But is the beer any good? - DjOverEZ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Is it me or have the Polyphonic Spree sold out?
- chrisrad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4@TehMasterer:
sigh - this is just like whenever someone diggs a Chaser's War video and idiots say "OMG BRITISH"
Australians don't even sound british................. - techAU, on 10/23/2008, -0/+4This is an ad for an Australian Beer company, it is at least 12 months old now.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"O Fortuna" from Carmina Burana by Carl Orff
- Berkana, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I love how the ad ends with "Made from Beer". Hilarious.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Ok, i stand corrected, some of it was CGI. But i'll be damned if i see another bastard mistake an aussie for an englishman
- gmerin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3they should have shown the crowd 2 hours later, once the beer has passed thru...
- jownz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It was pretty big... I guess.
- thirdman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Funny as *****, specially when you realise its a piss take of an old series of British Airways adverts
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLrJbyqAgvA - BlackCow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This just proves that advertisements should not be seen as second class content and that Ads are content and you can do well if you make something people want to watch.
- Haohmaru, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"O Fortuna"
- chedabob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Nope, the one with the car parts, and the one with the noises.
Ive not seen any others. - jmack111, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I love this ad, especially when they get stuck trying to get over the fence and then when they are dancing while going down the throat.
Classic!!!
I agree with carty01.. It is at least 12 months old. I believe it was filmed in New Zealand. - iigloo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is so old!
But wait!
It's okay, because this ad is a classic! I love it. - carl201167, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Not as classy as this Guinness ad (and no, it's not the surfing horses one)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9Y9D0af-uA - idonthack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Agreed. Your jib needs re-cutting.
- JoCliMe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Hurray for Carl Orffs O Fortuna being used in yet another commercial...still a great piece though
- fledglyng, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2What could be better? How about no ads at all...
- DarkSenay, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3No CG in this Ad, from the same brewing company
http://www.flashbeer.com.au - snoborderx911, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2whats the name of that song?
- dosterm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@norris
I agree with you that this SHOULD be true, but the overwhelming prevalence of crap beer in America indicates otherwise. It's all advertising here. You're probably more correct in Europe, although I'm sure it affects things there too. - Jack9, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2For once, it's not hyperbole. Dugg.
- noouch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2http://www.massivesoftware.com/purchase.html
Quite costly, not really worth it unless you're really serious about using it, the customers are mostly VFX studios with a considerable budget. Also, you would need more software to make full use of the functionality, Massive doesn't come with the necessary tools to build an environment for the crowds. -
