Eh, sometimes some people just need a little reminder... an arrow back to the path as it were. Sure, this one string of words won't "fix" someone, but it could make someone pause for a second and breathe. Maybe a string of such breaths over time, could help a person make a small shift in thinking. So if we are dealing with a nation of idiots as you say, How do we solve that problem? We can't just demand they study philosophical doctrines, that won't fly. So spoon feeding a random reminder or two now and then into the mainstream doesn't offend me in the least. Maybe down the road people will put more time into thinking about "the point of it all" but until that happens, let the kid stick his finger in the leaking holes of the dam.
It doesn't seem worth you getting upset over. Calling random people "mindless" and "***** idiots" over something so minor strikes me as a waste of your energy. I don't think you are making a change for the positive any more than that graffiti bud.

I can go on further to say that since nothing is better than everything, everything is less then nothing, and is therefore negative. Since even ideas, such as a soul, are things, life is worse than nothing. Therefore the best life is one not lived at all. Everything falls into place unless you're a masochist.
