- diizy, on 10/11/2007, -3/+89this is a great clip. good on those cops for doing a good deed.
- TubaTechno, on 10/11/2007, -3/+79What happened to the "cops are jerks" stereotype here on digg?
It's refreshing for a change. - bariswheel, on 10/11/2007, -8/+71An fine example for police. Props to those cops. See, don't judge a book by its cover, cops aren't *****; respect them and most of them will do the same. Disrespect them and vice versa, it's simple.
- Rooster99, on 10/11/2007, -2/+58Happy ending for everyone!
- knightblade2oo4, on 10/11/2007, -4/+47This makes Reno 911 look so realistic.
(yes i know LV isn't Reno) - jokerthief, on 10/11/2007, -1/+38That has to be the coolest cop ever.
- Calder0n, on 10/11/2007, -3/+37ahahaha that right there is why I love this city.
- tofuComputer, on 10/11/2007, -8/+33Summary: Cop captures midget and turns him over to a freak show.
WTF!! - Aslander, on 10/11/2007, -3/+27I just wonder if the midget actually showed up to the job the next day...
- artofwar420, on 10/11/2007, -2/+26No, he did ***** like that on the streets, literally, now he can do that for money. That way he can move up in life.
- rjam710, on 10/11/2007, -2/+22@orientis
Ok, then YOU be the ***** to tell him no on national tv. - griz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+19It all depends on what you were doing wrong. This guy was breaking the law, sure, but his crime was minor and his personal problem was bigger.
- pokjob, on 10/11/2007, -3/+21OK little dude... decision time:
Jail or freak-show. What's it gonna be? - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+19What the hell so would you be if you'd just legged it after someone who's got a 20 meter head start on you and you catch him up within 100 meters.
- donkeyshow, on 10/11/2007, -1/+17so the fat guy they took him to...was he some kind of midget pimp?
hey little buddy, you look lost. - durru7, on 10/11/2007, -4/+20maybe because the cop is human? he actually cared about the guys situation.
please, not every cop is a d*ck. - BlackCow, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16@saggygrandma
How is it insulting? Preforming is what the guy liked to do, he said it was the only way he knew how to make money. Seems like a perfect job for him. - Alexius, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14Watch the 1st part here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40FH7CW9QcM&NR=1
Good find. - donkeyshow, on 10/11/2007, -2/+10that was the most talented midget ever. Such an amazing entertainer the cops got him a job at the midget-store after he did backflips for the owner.
wait...that didnt make sense at all. - commiebob, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9I wonder if the officer did that because of the film crew, or if he's a genuinely nice guy
- christopheles, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8Midget is a medical term that little people find offensive because it is used incorrectly as a blanket term.
I don't think insane street performers care what you call them. - dn11, on 10/11/2007, -4/+10best part is when he starts climbing the pole. craziest Cops scene of all time - only in Vegas
- Frenchy79, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6That's great, it's nice to see people looking out and helping each other like that!
- kalleanka, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Lol, in the very end of the video he asks what he previously has been arrested for, and he goes on with a long list of ***** he has been doing: robbery, felony, etc etc etc.
- igoratwork, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4"you see these tourists out here, they love me!"
"I am gona brake these cuffs, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" - NoctemSaiyaku, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Wish I could do a backflip, best chase I've seen
- imnojezus, on 10/11/2007, -3/+6jokertheif
He mentions in the beginning of the video that the guy is a street performer. His act may have involved swords. - tektalk, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5officer:"why did you do that? why did you make me run after you?'
little guy: "because you need the exercise..." - carbonetc, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4"Problematic midget" is my new favorite phrase.
- Tropicalpalmdoc, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2(You can pretty much get away with anything down there)
Except jaywalking. They love to ticket us for jaywalking at tech. conferences. - EvilFerret, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3It's VERY rare to see a homeless little person, these guys can get jobs in the entertainment industry even having a talent. I'm an ex-LEO myself and I only ran across one little person who was homeless, and it was entirely his choice. He told me about how he refused to work in the entertainment industry, and unfortunately *normal* employers discriminate against them. Even a well educated little person can have major problems, simply because people don't see them as a regular human beings. People see them and automatically think "funny"...
The guy in the video was back on the streets within the month.... I can almost guarantee you that. He probably had a drug and/or alcohol problem.... He also probably made more money doing street performance for tourists than working for that company. - Heyseuss, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2"alot of my friends also went to grad-school but they pursued professions, lawyers, doctors, other entrepreneurial-type jobs" lol. those wacky doctor entrepeneurs.
- zero, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2oh yea forgot to mention the exception if your a tourist or a conference visitor your fair game. Locals hate tourists
- jokerthief, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5What's up with the cop asking him if he has a sword?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4Dugg for the positive outcome.
- tw0k1ngs, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Little Person and DWARF sound more offensive than midget...
I say we and the "little people" get together and just compromise on "Miniature."
Problomatic miniature... has a nice ring to it... and it doesn't want to make me ask them where da gold at. - Djerrid, on 10/11/2007, -3/+4"What's up with the cop asking him if he has a sword?"
Old cop trick. Ask the perp something ludicrous and if they chuckle they most likely don't have anything to hide. If they stay stone-faced with a tense "No sir" they might be trying to conceal something. - Heyseuss, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1What would the locals be doing without tourists? Living in some other barren lifeless part of America playing cards with each other and wearing fruit on their head ?? LVPD suck and are exactly the opposite of what you said.
- CaptainWeasel, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3dugg for the crossdresser in the back at 6:47
- Cannon1001, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1you are getting burried bc you forgot the /sarcasm tag.
- z4pp4, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2jokerthief: GTFU
Being PC is so 90's. Lets call a spade a spade. Listen to some George Carlin. He's got the low down on all this renaming crap. - mriegger, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3Wow, love the celebrity cameo by Weeman at the very end
- drouk1556, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2"They employ little people to do circus performing acts, hand out flyers, and uh, a lot of little people. It's the only place I know in Las Vegas."
Best officer ever. - Gl4di4tor, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3My bad tofuComputer, I accidentally dugg you down by pressing the thumbs down button. :(
- Grafs, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3It's nice to see cops being proactive instead of wasting more tax dollars slamming this guy in jail. I wish more were like him.
- Heyseuss, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2"What's up with the cop asking him if he has a sword?"
Well he would have said "pocketknife" to someone else, but, little person y'know, sooooooo - shellshocked, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1don't forget like any one else cops can be a reflection of the environment they work in.
- veeshy, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2i think that's the first "nice" cop video i've ever seen O_o
