Otters Holding Hands watch!

youtube.com — Pretty self explanatory and surprisingly entertaining. They get separated and then come back together to hold hands again.

  • squaat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19I believe these two otters are from the Vancouver Aquarium. I think the white headed one is called Nyak, and she was rescued from the Exxon Oil Spill in Alaska.

    Sea Otters, in the wild, sometimes hold hands to stay together in "rafts" while they rest. They also wrap themselves in kelp that's rooted to the sea floor to stop themselves drifting away.

    If you haven't been to the Vancouver Aquarium, then you should go, these Sea Otters are my favourite and I will often spend hours there just watching their cuteness.
