        Stop trying to inflate your egos with meaningless status, like a "front page story," most of the time the bulk of us don't even bother to see who submitted.

You can get it to the place where it only shows the tech stuff you love. If you need something even more fine-grained than blocking categories, you can get Greasemonkey plugins that will filter every story based upon keywords you enter.

          I mean, seriously, your ability to control what you see on Digg is pretty great right now. If you want it to be like the good old days, please join the rest of us who already have categories & filters in place. :)

If you submit a story, then that means you found it interesting and would like to share. The fact that MBM got the same story on the front page shouldn't make any difference to you.     There are stories that, if MBM didn't submit and made FP, I'd never see them. Some stories I want to see, others I don't. There have been a few that I knew were questionable to someone else's, so I got upset and was against MBM. But what is this place? A playground fight in the tubez? c'mon nerds, we're better than that... okay maybe some of us aren't.
    I definitely don't think it's cool to rehash someone else's find and claim it with a 'trademark' name to get it to FP. If MBM could maybe realize that other people have found stuff and he could promote their stuff as well, I think we all win. We see what we want to see, MBM gets stories to the FP, albeit minus his name as submitted, and digg slows up on digging stories about itself concerning this topic. Then maybe that hate would slow up. idk. maybe I'm just wasting my time with this.. then again, I am on digg.. .what else am I suppose to be doing?
