"I've done it with a girl...intercourse-wise."
youtube.com — Daniel Radcliff (Harry Potter) on the TV show "Extras."
- 2610 diggs
- digg it
- IChazI, on 02/20/2008, -7/+118That show looks like it'd be worth watching.
- thebellmaster1x, on 02/20/2008, -0/+127Trust me, "Extras" is GOLD.
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -1/+4Yeah, I'm definitely gonna have to pick up the DVD box sets. I especially loved Patrick Stewart's cameo.
- Devotia, on 02/20/2008, -0/+17Patrick Stewart was good, but nothing touched Bowie.
- SurrealDream, on 02/20/2008, -4/+2Extras is a bit hit and miss, but when it's gold, it's TRULY gold. Inbred's right about the Patrick Stewart one :D
- Hemingrubbish, on 02/20/2008, -0/+5The xmas/finale special was very good I thought. And Steven Merchant is just the king of awkard.
- TDot1980, on 02/20/2008, -0/+12The last time I trusted somebody on the Internet, I got Rickroll'd, Goatse'd, Tubgirl'd, and 2girls1cup.com'd.
- craterburnsu, on 02/21/2008, -0/+1All at once?! My god, how did you survive?
- narcofiche, on 02/20/2008, -0/+1Extras is great because it's not only funny, but it's extremely awkward and kind of sad. It's absolutely brilliant.
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -1/+4Yeah, I'm definitely gonna have to pick up the DVD box sets. I especially loved Patrick Stewart's cameo.
- otatop, on 02/20/2008, -2/+13It ended in December.
- ElAssoWipo, on 02/20/2008, -3/+2Yeah but Americans and Canadians haven't seen any of them yet, unless they bought the DVDs. It's just starting now in Canada, second show this week.
- sleemo, on 02/20/2008, -0/+8it was on American HBO.
- codered1322, on 02/20/2008, -0/+4They aired the Christmas Special in America on HBO before they did on the BBC. It peeved some people off.
- sv650touring, on 02/20/2008, -0/+2Many Americans and Canadians have these things called "Internets" and on them are often TV shows from exotic and far away lands. For example, I watched the first Extras series thew day after each episode aired.
- craterburnsu, on 02/21/2008, -0/+3Don't lie, the Canadians can't get on our US tubes.
- ElAssoWipo, on 02/20/2008, -3/+2Yeah but Americans and Canadians haven't seen any of them yet, unless they bought the DVDs. It's just starting now in Canada, second show this week.
- Roger, on 02/20/2008, -3/+60Watch The Office (UK) while you're at it.
- pastaq, on 02/20/2008, -25/+3I did. Its stupid. Peep show is better.
- Roger, on 02/20/2008, -1/+12Peep Show may be better (I might agree with you on that) but The Office is far from stupid.
- sv650touring, on 02/20/2008, -0/+2Peep Show is easier to watch for people used to American TV, but I have seen every episode and special of each, and The Office is just in a class by itself. Peep show is still wonderful - on par with the best HBO comedy shows.
- moush, on 02/20/2008, -4/+9Just watch Fawlty Towers imo.
- benbrooks101, on 02/20/2008, -0/+7Too bad there are only a few episodes :(
- REBELinBLUE, on 02/20/2008, -1/+9Approximately as many as Extras and The Office (UK) ;)
- sexybobo, on 02/20/2008, -0/+4Most British shows only have a few episodes. Just not enough advertising dollars in the UK to have 24 episode season like we have in the USA
- REBELinBLUE, on 02/20/2008, -0/+4Part of the reason is because shows in the UK are typically written by 1 or 2 people instead of entire teams as in the US. So they obviously produce less content and get "burnt out" quicker. Also remember that on the BBC (which is where most of the good TV is ;)) a show is near enough its full runtime, an hour show is 59 minutes rather than 45 minutes, a half hour show is 29 minutes instead of 22.
- themoose, on 02/20/2008, -1/+3@sexybobo - no advertising dollars on the BBC ;)
- sv650touring, on 02/20/2008, -0/+3The nice thing about short runs is that the shows are often written from day 1 with the end in mind, instead of being kept on life support for years like much American primetime network garbage (*cough* Friends)
- moush, on 02/21/2008, -0/+1Oh well, many good shows are canceled while the ***** ones continue on: American Idol, etc.
- benbrooks101, on 02/20/2008, -0/+7Too bad there are only a few episodes :(
- pastaq, on 02/20/2008, -25/+3I did. Its stupid. Peep show is better.
- themastersb, on 02/20/2008, -0/+3I started watching it as soon as it aired a couple weeks ago on the comedy Network.
- obeythefist, on 02/20/2008, -0/+11The one with Orlando Bloom is even funnier than this one. The whole season had me crying.
- codered1322, on 02/20/2008, -0/+2Clive Owen and Patrick Stewart were two other gems.
- Reaper2806, on 02/20/2008, -1/+5For those not in the know, the idea of Extras is these celebrities appear as parodies of themselves, essentially acting out a lot of the jokes about them.
For example Michael Jackson appearing on Extras would be sitting on a bench with Ricky watching all the young boys that went by.- SurlyDuff, on 02/20/2008, -0/+4Haha like George Michael and his gay pickup bench
- themoose, on 02/20/2008, -0/+5FYI, there's 2 seasons and 1 xmas special, and Gervais has said he's not going to be making any more.
- deadmann, on 02/20/2008, -0/+4It is, I happened across a marathon of the second season having never heard of it and watched the whole thing. It's ***** hilarious.
- bdrocker, on 02/20/2008, -0/+4extras is great! get the DVDs!
- BigPapi, on 02/20/2008, -0/+4The one with Ian Mckellan is hilarious. Love this show!
- thebellmaster1x, on 02/20/2008, -0/+127Trust me, "Extras" is GOLD.
- cshaaban, on 02/20/2008, -12/+4Harry Potter has been a bad boy...
- AzureRise, on 02/20/2008, -7/+1A very bad boy, he must be punished!
- alamandrax, on 02/20/2008, -1/+5Break his wang! Wand! I mean wand!
:-S

- AzureRise, on 02/20/2008, -7/+1A very bad boy, he must be punished!
- bonkeykong, on 02/20/2008, -8/+195I... how do you say? Super-manned that ho?
- ispeakasian, on 02/20/2008, -52/+2You spelled "hoe" wrong, but other than that, you're pretty accurate.
- EmitStop, on 02/20/2008, -3/+35I believe 'ho' can be spelled either way.
- Namco, on 02/20/2008, -4/+41You use a "hoe" to cultivate the garden. You use a "ho" to get a decent blowjob after your ***** wife spends $700 at Macy's for new ***** flatware and won't even bother to throw a ***** frozen burrito in the ***** microwave when I ^H^H you get home from a long day's work!^H^H.
- capiCrimm, on 02/20/2008, -0/+25well this explains why whenever I get a bj from a hoe I end up in the emergency room.
- timothycrash01, on 02/20/2008, -0/+10Donnie, is that you?!
- Dested, on 02/20/2008, -0/+11Man I used that ho to cultivate my garden, you dont even know.
- tidu, on 02/20/2008, -0/+15It's actually the true meaning that is more surprising to me
6000 people on urban dictionary can't be wrong- otatop, on 02/20/2008, -0/+6I had never thought to look that up. Wow.
- pastaq, on 02/20/2008, -1/+14its actually "whore" just pronounced like an idiot.
- lolwutpear, on 02/20/2008, -8/+11I think they prefer "African American"
- iPissExcellence, on 02/20/2008, -5/+6and fried chicken
- DDRSkata, on 02/22/2008, -0/+1It's a short form of "whore." So...(w)HO(re). Get it?
- EmitStop, on 02/20/2008, -3/+35I believe 'ho' can be spelled either way.
- TripcodeMel, on 02/20/2008, -9/+13YOUUUUUUUUUU
- likwidfuzion, on 02/20/2008, -0/+6Wizerd Boy Tellem?
- KingGorilla, on 02/20/2008, -1/+11Crank dat cotton gin
- EvilAnimator, on 02/20/2008, -7/+2Thanks for referencing the worst tune in the history of music. What a song for idiots.
- ispeakasian, on 02/20/2008, -52/+2You spelled "hoe" wrong, but other than that, you're pretty accurate.
- SantaClauz, on 02/20/2008, -1/+25Wow, I'm really glad I was introduced to this show. Its actually quite funny.
- antiorblkflag9, on 02/20/2008, -0/+5I almost stopped watching before they stopped acting, I'm glad I didn't
- SuperWinner, on 02/20/2008, -8/+2Magic.

- SuperWinner, on 02/20/2008, -4/+70Is that ***** Willow??
- elizabethb221, on 02/20/2008, -7/+3Hellllllll yeah. He's in all the Harry Potter movies too...in case you or someone didn't know/realize.
- Sedako, on 02/20/2008, -0/+20He actually has been in more movies than you probably realize. He was Wickit the Ewok, he played the Leprechaun in the scary movie series, and was also the physical Marvin in HHGTTG.
- CanadaMan87, on 02/20/2008, -2/+12The Hitchhiker's Guide is way too long of a title to abbreviate effectively. It looks like nonsense.
- SurrealDream, on 02/20/2008, -1/+7In some circles, it's called "H2G2".
- DucoNihilum, on 02/20/2008, -0/+1I prefer HGG.

- Chords0fLife, on 02/20/2008, -0/+33I told you not to talk to me!
- otatop, on 02/20/2008, -9/+97Why was this submitted to news?
- thebellmaster1x, on 02/20/2008, -1/+21Because Radcliffe's finally getting some witch poon. About time, I guess.
- linuxpenguin, on 02/20/2008, -0/+3Harry Potter doing it with a girl is news to me.
- PURPLEDRINK, on 02/20/2008, -2/+5because he has done things to girls... intercourse-wise..... why just the other day i gave a hooker $250 and we did it... intercourse-wise

- thebrawl, on 02/20/2008, -0/+3And more importantly, why wasn't this properly titled "Horny Potter"?
- internetcoward, on 02/20/2008, -4/+107Man does everyone live in a cave? It seems everyone is JUST NOW finding this show. We used to make an event out of it every Sunday night. The series finale was amazing.
- reclusiveraider, on 02/20/2008, -0/+5the finale totally caught me off guard, but it grew on me and I really appreciate what Ricky did.
- jamesmcv, on 02/20/2008, -0/+4Don't forget Stephen Merchant who co-wrote and co-directed both The Office and Extras.
- reclusiveraider, on 02/20/2008, -0/+1Yes, how could I forget!
- jamesmcv, on 02/20/2008, -0/+4Don't forget Stephen Merchant who co-wrote and co-directed both The Office and Extras.
- Synn, on 02/20/2008, -6/+5Isn't this show on HBO or something? That kind of explains why people don't know about it.
- Synn, on 02/20/2008, -0/+2What's the point of digging me down? I'm right. Most people don't have HBO...so they don't know about this show.
- gameface247, on 02/20/2008, -6/+1The finale was too whiny and maudlin. The only funny bits were Barry and Darren at the Car Phone Warehouse.
- mattcoady, on 02/20/2008, -0/+4Don't get HBO in Canada so I came late to the game. Picked up the dvd box set around christmas. It's worth every penny.
- ApolloXLII, on 02/20/2008, -7/+5from what i understand, this show doesn't air in the states. or maybe a cave is a new nick name for the US. awesome... let's change it to THE CAVE. sweet.
- internetcoward, on 02/20/2008, -0/+2no... it DID air in the states.
- codered1322, on 02/20/2008, -0/+1It first aired on HBO nearly two years ago. Also, the Christmas Special aired in the States a full week before it aired on the BBC. Get your facts right.
- woohalladoobop, on 02/21/2008, -0/+1Aren't you the trendsetter?
- reclusiveraider, on 02/20/2008, -0/+5the finale totally caught me off guard, but it grew on me and I really appreciate what Ricky did.

- MrTulip, on 02/20/2008, -0/+5inform the men!
- dsmith78, on 02/20/2008, -0/+0dugg for the futurama reference
- assassinave, on 02/20/2008, -17/+4How in the F do you people not realize that the British are the only reason we have comedy. The Office...ring a bell.....Extras...I owned the first season before it even came on HBO. If you also have not seen Flight of The Conchords then you lead a very tragic tv watching lifestyle. Maybe some joys are better well kept to those that truly appreciate them i guess.
- hmcook87, on 02/20/2008, -0/+9flight of the concords are NOT british.
- bingobongony, on 02/20/2008, -7/+3Wow...you come off sounding like a ***** idiot. Flight of the Conchords is the biggest pile of steaming donkey ***** ever put on TV. The Britsh have just as many, if not MORE flops than the US does. Sorry, but any country that gave us Benny Hill as a great comedy master is not this big comedy gold.
Oh, and you know who CLEARLY likes US comedy more than British comedy? Ricky Gervais. - Eldorian, on 02/20/2008, -0/+6Don't forget the IT Crowd.
- adooga, on 02/20/2008, -0/+7It's pretty funny how one of the running jokes through the Flight Of The Conchords series is that Americans think every English-speaking person not from the U.S. must be British, and lo and behold - every time they're mentioned on these forums, Americans seem to think they're British.
You really do make it too easy. For the record, it's called NEW ZEALAND. - Myonosken, on 02/20/2008, -0/+3Black books, Father Ted, GREEN WING, Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Spaced, etc
- Slydevil01, on 02/20/2008, -0/+2Coupling, Peep Show...Forget that Little Britain trash.
As for American comedy, i'll always be eternally grateful for The Simpsons and Scrubs. xx- Myonosken, on 02/21/2008, -0/+1God how did I forget those two.
- codered1322, on 02/20/2008, -0/+2Flight of the Conchords is from Australia... errr I mean New Zealand. Plus don't be so ignorant and faux-intellectual by saying the British have the OMG! best comedy. Yeah, it is totally amazing and some of my favorite shows are from England but no need to hate on the US.
- final_sound, on 02/20/2008, -0/+12Extras on the front page twice in one day! Great to see this very worthy show finally getting a little bit of recognition. I definitely recommend it to anyone who liked these clips, or even the british office(from the same people).
- JAK2112, on 02/20/2008, -2/+4extras is one of the best shows on tv, and this is by far its finest moment. The Chris martin episode is another quality one.
- bingobongony, on 02/20/2008, -3/+1You are out of your mind. EVERY single episode from the first season was better than every single episode from the second.
- vaterite, on 02/20/2008, -9/+4What the hell has happened to Digg if this two year old clip is on the main page?
- bingobongony, on 02/20/2008, -2/+2Only 1 year (actually about 15 months if you count when it first aired in the UK) But your point is just as valid.
- steveoco, on 02/20/2008, -5/+2Did anyone else notice how close potter was to channeling David Brent?
- bingobongony, on 02/20/2008, -5/+2No...because Andy Mailman and David Brent as not even remotely similar characters
- elitexero, on 02/20/2008, -12/+3Was that supposed to be funny? Because it wasn't.
- bingobongony, on 02/20/2008, -8/+12What the hell is a 14 month old TV show clip doing on Digg's front page?

- palimend, on 02/20/2008, -1/+3Ricky Gervais is a comic genius and Extras is one of the funniest shows to ever grace the small screen.
- adooga, on 02/20/2008, -2/+2The same 2 year-old TV show on the front page twice in one day? Did you submit both of them, assrider?
