- TheHIV, on 07/11/2009, -1/+466Man, that removal tool is so crucial. Symantec is about as hard to remove as most viruses.
- speedyparker87, on 07/11/2009, -12/+410First thing I thought was U.S. / U.K.
Then I realized that you suck. - Ghostalker, on 07/11/2009, -6/+348Serves you right for installing that garbage.

- KillPenguin, on 07/12/2009, -2/+37To be fair, it's pre-installed on practically every ***** computer sold by any company.
- therightclique, on 07/12/2009, -0/+34The Norton Removal Utility is the only product they make that works.
- senae, on 07/11/2009, -4/+38Why is there a captcha on a desktop application?
The only possible reason for that to be there is to piss off it's users. - inactive, on 07/11/2009, -6/+39*u suk

- dmurphy04, on 07/12/2009, -1/+23ANYTHING, ANYTHING, ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING but Norton. Wow, it stinks. I'm currently enduring 2 daily popups counting down the last *30* days of my Norton trial with my new computer, while I await my super-cheap McAfee (from Amazon Marketplace) to arrive in the mail. Oh, and my old computer had it at one point and I hated its daily popups too. Sometimes it will decide to restart your computer so you lose your work without warning, too.
PS: WOW, I resent and hate Norton. - ChileanGoD, on 07/11/2009, -2/+24I wish I knew it's existence when I gave up and resolved to format my hard drive a couple of years ago.
- pinetree, on 07/11/2009, -1/+23I haven't used Norton, but I'm guessing that they do that so that a virus that gets into the system can't simply invoke the uninstaller to remove Norton, thereby thwarting any updates to Norton that might detect and remove the virus later.
- Elderon, on 07/11/2009, -0/+21It's there probably because viruses out there can and will attempt to bypass or uninstall any anti virus programs they find.
- dbz253, on 07/11/2009, -1/+21at least this one is accurate
- Galgum, on 07/11/2009, -4/+22College has ruined me: I thought it was a graph comparing the US and UK since their economy has been doing better than ours. Note the curve in it.
- orias6891, on 07/12/2009, -1/+18Shouldn't your username be Norton_PR ?
- megaton, on 07/12/2009, -0/+16Agreed. The US and the UK have nothing to do with one another.

- faceless323, on 07/12/2009, -0/+14Avira - just make sure you disable the pop-up.

- Thundercat1971, on 07/12/2009, -0/+13been real happy with Avast! Antivirus. Its found loads of stuff that Norton missed. Oh, and its free.
- CaptainPedantic, on 07/11/2009, -4/+16Hmm, I'd prefer The United Kingdom, just like it was in the good ol' days.

- themastersb, on 07/12/2009, -1/+11I use Avast. In B4 Linux/Mac doesn't need antivirus.
- 1longtime, on 07/12/2009, -3/+13Everyone hates Symantec?
...ok, what do people use for antivirus then? - alpha88, on 07/12/2009, -0/+10lol, usuk.

- Philbert, on 07/11/2009, -0/+9Because we all know how much effort that takes.
- chesstwin, on 07/12/2009, -0/+8I didn't even know you could disable the popup in Avira. Just looked it up and did it. Thanks Digg!
