- shaun3000, on 10/10/2007, -3/+80The guy got sucked into that tube thing (jet engine?) and they sprayed fire things on it (extinguishers, perhaps?).
- fhernand, on 10/10/2007, -1/+74i want to know what her reaction was when they told her. And the "dead" guy should have said things like "please tell loren that i loved her" and "its so cold here"
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+58I'd love to hear her tell a story. So I got hit with this thing. Then he pulled this thing down. Then he put a thing inside me. Then like 9 months later this thing popped out of my thing. OMG what is this thing?
- samshaikh, on 10/10/2007, -3/+41yeah he was standing on the thing and the thing turned on and he went into the thing and they had to put things on it. o m g!
- abusive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+32I wanted to see her reaction when they told her it was a prank.
- thefog, on 10/10/2007, -2/+33Its a new MTV show, Room 401.
Can anyone remember when MTV actually meant Music Television? - deadpixel621, on 10/10/2007, -3/+31That is the most F*ed up prank. Loved it!
- swooshonln, on 10/10/2007, -0/+28The second time the pilot walked up to the girl; after he said "its a good night for flying," they should of "reset" the jet engine scene, and made her think she had a dejavu moment to see how she would react.
- insomniacal, on 10/10/2007, -1/+25Maybe some pranks go too far? Sounds like she's going to need therapy.
- pjdk28, on 10/10/2007, -3/+26sadism maybe? it's only a prank when someone's ego is involved, not their emotional stability.
- frogpelt, on 10/10/2007, -4/+26I wouldn't exactly call that hilarious. It was interesting though.
- andrewry, on 10/10/2007, -0/+22I think they changed it to Miscellaneous Television.
- nakile, on 10/10/2007, -1/+15I was expecting somebody to be complaining about Flick Life within the first three comments...
- adamrgolf, on 10/10/2007, -2/+16the fact that is causes you to type in caps and try to curse.
- Al3x, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13The "swap" was really him standing behind a tarp...and she was far away, she didn't have the benefit of our camera angles and zoom. And she really only saw it once, and she wasn't studying it expecting it to be a prank like we were. In the moment, I think you would have reacted similarly.
- MacSawD, on 10/10/2007, -8/+19That was pretty retarded. The body flying in there was obviously a freaking rag doll and any human stupid enough to not notice a real person being swapped for a rag doll is absolutely bound to be frightened by anything and everything.
- knetworx, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12That was wrong on so many levels. I have a pretty sick sense of humor, and *I* was disturbed by that. I'm not digging this for anything.
That girl will probably never fly again, and is going to have emotional problems forever.... - econofast, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9MTV's The Real World: Debut: May 21, 1992.
So I'd say.... the day before that. - Nicksname1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8I sure would love to kick that host in the teeth!
- SimonJohnson, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Not even for the amusement of internet people ?
- rockefeller, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8One time I went to my parent's house and there was police tape across the front of the yard and my dad was sitting on the front porch. I pulled up in my truck and asked him what was going on. He told me that my mom had killed herself. I asked him if he was serious and he said yes. He kept a straight face the whole time.
By the time I got to the front porch my face was white and I was tearing up and then he told me the truth, that someone was running from the cops the night before and ran into his back yard and the cops shot him in the leg. The police tape was up for the investigation.
*****' worst joke anyone's ever played on me. - ani625, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8God i hate flicklife the most... next to paris hilton ofcourse
- andrewry, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7If you've seen the other skits on this show (I watched this episode last night), they are very good at doing this. One of the other skits involved changing out a persons body in a hot tub (semi-clear water because of bubbles), and the people were looking straight at it. They are very professional (I'm sure they have magicians involved with many of the pranks).
- wicketr, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8That's what i don't understand. How did she not see the when the swap happened? Did someone distract her? It doesn't seem to show how the swap happened either which is a bit annoying.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6I was getting ready for a massive screaming fest where she would be trying to convince him to get off the wing.
Then he does... So she thinks she just saved someones life and has supernatural powers.
Then break it to her that she's nothing special and she only has friends that want to be mean to her.
If done right this could cause suicide.
And that would be well funny, wouldn't it? - pivovy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7flick life is a shame
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Oh, for *****'s sake.
- Nat3r, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4the taxi driver one is better.
all these people are the people that deserve it, the hardworking college student isnt susceptible, its the bitch cheerleaders, and the ***** jocks that are messed with... - bonyicecream, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5FLICKLIFE SUCKS.
- corevette, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6at first i thought the term 'hilarious' was inappropriate, but it actually turned out to be a pretty clever prank
- HypocriteDigg, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Lame. Two things I don't find funny are 'pranks' in which a person tries to be a good Samaritan (ie grab a fake old man in a wheel chair rolling down the hill), and 'pranks' in which people are put through trauma of seeing other people die. Hey how about this idea. They pull a prank on the girl in which she sees her husband shot and killed by a robber. That would be HILARIOUS!!!!!
- bernieg1, on 10/10/2007, -5/+9I do not believe pranks should involve anyone dying. You're toying with very, very dangerous emotions. Next thing we will pretend that they are eating their pet dog or cat that was accidentally killed and sent to a restaurant.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3You sure it was "a friend"?
You sure it wasn't "NO ONE"? - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Tried to watch it but after Flicklife needed to buffer for the 4th time since starting the video I gave up. I don't pay for cable internet to get dial-up performance.
- bashar129, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3If you see someone actually get sucked into a jet engine, they do look like a rag doll...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_gpPbpONK4
it's the same link as above, but... - Johnson10, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Room 401 is just a spin off of Scifi's Scare Tactics
- mishga, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I don't see what was so hilarious about this "prank." I see how it's clever, but it's not funny.
- Antibland, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3This is because, deep down, MTV hates itself. It creates shows like this to kick its own audiences' collective ass.
- LexisNexis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Oh my science!
- Clark3934, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I seriously think digg should ban flicklife from the submissions.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3No... not a "spin-off", it's a "rip-off", since it's a completely different production company.
Ashton Kutcher's the executive producer, FFS. Technically, if anything, it's a spin-off of "Punk'd". - musicology, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2not really funny at all, they could have gone farther, or even sprung it on her that it was a joke. its just simple and kinda cruel...
- COLDshiver, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2lol: "They used the fire thing", you mean fire extinguishers?
- johnnycheeks, on 10/10/2007, -4/+6So THIS is the source of the supposed "real deal" that was submitted a couple weeks back.
Myth BUSTED. - TequilaCollins, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I agree. Pranks can be funny, or they can be cruel. This was cruel.
- kirbyrocks, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2That's what the internet is for, my friend.
- Urusai, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2The guy lived?? They sure can do a lot with super glue and duct tape, I guess.
- Fordi, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Interestingly enough, given the physics of a jet engine, a guy 'sucked into' a starting one would very likely only suffer serious head trauma. Touchy chances of survival, mind you, but the guy wouldn't actually enter the engine.
Also, he'd have to be a LOT closer; -14psig is the max vacuum you can produce, and that's just not enough force to pull a man at five meters. - NegativeTwo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2OK, well now we know where THIS footage from 3 weeks ago came from...
http://www.digg.com/videos/people/Video_ON_SET_ACCIDENT_Man_sucked_into_Jet_Engine - HumpyMcGee, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2that was retarded
