He's astounding when it comes to grasping moods and timbres with his style, using sound as a color pallet and arranging his music to be more progressive than the sub-par production of Lil' Jon, T-pain and his other peers. Not to mention, unlike most other hip hop artists he gathers ranges of influences such as Portishead (you can really hear it on his new album), Fiona Apple and the Jackson Five. Most people won't recognize his artistry in production because his arrogance overshadows it. So sad. If he shut his mouth and started talking some sense he WOULD be a valid voice for our generation...but he's not...
Digg me down...I'm just trying to put a different perspective on it for you guys.
