- jhaydon, on 07/02/2008, -3/+274We saw a presentation on a school trip here in Australia, on the IMAX screen. They were using Windows XP and bluescreened it. Largest bluescreen in the southern hemisphere!
- ligyron, on 07/03/2008, -5/+186How is this falling asleep on the job? Not like it's someone's job to sit on that computer 9 to 5 making sure it's always up to date. It's probably just stuck in a server room most of the time.
- michaelnojutsu, on 07/03/2008, -2/+181That's why you gotta check the box.
- wontstoptalking, on 07/03/2008, -4/+153I heard in the souther hemisphere, bluescreens flush the other way.
- xamboozi, on 07/03/2008, -3/+149how much funnier would it have been if a virus was throwing porn ads up?
- wontstoptalking, on 07/03/2008, -2/+66Has anyone else ever dreamed of flushing a toilet exactly on the equator? I'd be a little afraid it would be like dividing by zero.
- SlapAyoda, on 07/03/2008, -0/+58Thanks for using an unnecessarily high resolution version of a very low quality image.
- laguano, on 07/03/2008, -0/+38Yeah, this has been up for quite some time.. even i took a picture of it :D
It was close to the hotel i was staying at.

(EDIT: I just realized that my picture isn't in a windows XP style window. it changed to classic?) - ChristianMagic, on 07/03/2008, -0/+35http://www.snopes.com/science/coriolis.asp
Snopes kills your dreams. - kiensoy, on 07/03/2008, -1/+29I don't understand the title.
- BevansDesign, on 07/03/2008, -1/+29Pfft. It's an ad for Norton Anti-Virus of course! This is brilliant marketing.
- MattB123, on 07/03/2008, -2/+29Quite a bit more, I'd say.
- banmaster, on 07/03/2008, -1/+27You're better off just geting infected than having ANY symantec/norton AV on your computer. It'll slow down less.
- swizzcheez, on 07/03/2008, -0/+21That was a surprising number of blown pixels... oh yeah, and the virus warning's disturbing too.
- com2, on 07/03/2008, -0/+19when I sit on a computer it makes my but hot.
- Bots, on 07/03/2008, -1/+20Symantec AntiVirus
- arobar, on 07/03/2008, -1/+17What do you think generates output for the screen to show? You think the screen decides what it's going to show on it's own?
- DeFex, on 07/03/2008, -5/+21yeah they could run..um..
- georgemason01, on 07/03/2008, -7/+22***** Mastercard.

- bglav, on 07/03/2008, -1/+16What does this have to do with Windows? It's an App within Windows...
- inactive, on 07/03/2008, -0/+14Not unless you're a professional mattress tester. Or a sleeping pill taster. Or a camera operator for the Larry King show.
- TheDeepFriar, on 07/03/2008, -1/+15No, he just prefers doors :P
- wontstoptalking, on 07/03/2008, -2/+15AVG?
- icehazard, on 07/03/2008, -5/+17at least it was not the BSOD

- cybercat, on 07/05/2008, -0/+10Mirror since the URL is now apparently being redirected: http://pic.mellbimbo.hu/files/vapid2323.JPG
- BevansDesign, on 07/03/2008, -2/+11Same thing would've happened on a Mac.
- pbone, on 07/03/2008, -0/+10why don't you go stand over there?
- banmaster, on 07/03/2008, -2/+11Do people actually get those any more? I've not seen one on any of my own systems for years.
- decker12, on 07/03/2008, -1/+9I hate Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition. That's what that error is from. NAVCE is a PIG with system resources. Every time a new virus database is sent to a client, the process chews up something like 150MB of memory until it's done. Anyone have any alternatives to a corporate server-push (ie behidn the firewall and managed by myself) virus database solution?
- banmaster, on 07/03/2008, -0/+8Not just that, but a quick glance shows that the stupid twit actually zoomed the image up to make it as big as it currently is.
- bingostud722, on 07/03/2008, -2/+10You just verified you know nothing about whats going on. Congratulations.
- digitalpencil, on 07/03/2008, -2/+10as a mac user for many years allow me to say.. STFU you stupid fanboy!
- digitalpencil, on 07/03/2008, -2/+10yes
- nicolasavru, on 07/03/2008, -0/+7Have any of you even tried Symantec AntiVirus? It's a corporate product, it has none of the bloat of Norton. None at all. It takes up 15 megs of ram while in the background.
- zyl0x, on 07/03/2008, -0/+7It's funny, out of the two - this picture, and your comment - I've only seen one before, and I've seen it many, many, many times. I'll let you figure out which one I'm talking about.
- revidium, on 07/03/2008, -0/+7Worst headline ever.
- redfred18t, on 07/03/2008, -1/+8No wonder why they dont have plumbing on the equator.
- ctrlv, on 07/04/2008, -1/+8it is the port authority terminal, why are you correcting him?
thats like someone saying "i saw that in las vegas", and you reply "this was in nevada"
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=p ... - WELLDOITLIVE, on 07/03/2008, -0/+7I liked his better, didn't feel like a waste of time to read because it only took a quarter second.
- dcmcderm, on 07/03/2008, -0/+6quit whining. who asked you anyway
- lpxxfaintxx2, on 07/03/2008, -0/+6Wow, the internet is only 1 week old?!
- Renegade.eit, on 07/03/2008, -2/+8Are you 12 years old?
- wrestlingnrj, on 07/03/2008, -0/+6Hahaha, Symantec Enterprise.
- ericwisner, on 07/04/2008, -0/+6The link is being redirected. Prepare for solicitation!
- laguano, on 07/03/2008, -0/+6Maybe they disabled that since it is intended to show an ad.
- Stonekeeper, on 07/03/2008, -1/+7Not flamebaiting here but why do people use XP for such systems?
