- evilesttoast, on 10/12/2007, -1/+38I got 12, the girl in the bee suit, AND the naked girl!
(Half of the diggers here will re-watch it because of this comment) - deivys, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13that was pretty awsome.
- sullyz0r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9That video owned me.
- TGDuff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9THERE... ARE... FOUR... LIGHTS!
- freehunter, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I saw it the first time, but thought it was a person dressed as a rooster doing a chicken dance. Bonus: I also guessed twelve.
- MinaSulo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8*****, I was like "Hah! I am not going to fall for this, I can easily count the number of passes.."
Needless to say, I didn't notice the bee :( - sundancekid503, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8you're right.. I mean just count the number of comments on here that [BEE SUIT] seem to agree with you!
..damn didn't work - V1be, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6http://viscog.beckman.uiuc.edu/djs_lab/demos.html

Similar studies - check out some of the demos, particularly the one where the construction workers change while asking people for directions. - rebotfc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Or the person swap
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFaY3YcMg1I - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5how about this one... very hard! http://www.davebranch.com/uploaded_images/boat-750358.jpg
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3At college orientation the speaker showed a video like this one. It was a group of people bouncing a basketball around. After about 10-15 passes, a gorilla came in the middle of the screen and spun around a bit, did some hand gestures, and kept on walking. The gorilla was on screen for about 10 seconds. Only about 5% of the people actually saw the gorilla.
The reason for playing the video was to show us that we need to keep our eyes open now that we were in a new place. - se1zure, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2yess, i Hvae been looking for that, do you have a link?
- magicmarc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Rebotfc, that Derren Brown video is cool. The first switch leaves the person with Luke Jermay, a great magician and old friend of mine.
- antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"This video has been removed due to terms of use violation."
- DubbedOver, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Finally someone who admitted it. I was totally shocked at the fact I had missed that and I went back and watched the original because "seeing is believing".
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1 yeah i got totally owned by that video. brainiac does that ***** all the time also @tgduff awesome picard reference
- Hermitwise, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Why haven't you released him yet?!
- m3mn0n, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I didn't even make it to the bee part. Once there was a visual disconnect with the location of the lunchbox, I stopped because if there is a break in continuity like that, it leaves the entire thing too open for trickery and deception, as I've learned from past experiences.
- Pottersquash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I noticed someone entered the room, saw they had no lunch box, figured it was a trick and immediately went back to counting my precious lunch box, never noticed it was a women in a bee suit
- Wandel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I swear they changed the movie when I re-watched it.
- Pottersquash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Why did G4 quit showing this show?
- bariswheel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1My head asplode.
- Zreitan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This show kinda sucks... i really enjoyed when they blew up the bathtub with alkali earth metals though.
- scjones, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Inattentive blindness? How about focus.
- merus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Same is here -
http://digg.com/videos_educational/Try_to_count_the_passes - FlapJaw, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1It was shown (gorilla one) at some skeptics convention with Michael Shermer, if that helps.
- CanceledCzech, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Yeah, me too, only it looked so damn weird i couldn't help but look, and it was short, insect-like, and moving all weird, so it scared the crap out of me.
- sundancekid503, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1bury
- gstringjihad, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3I counted 12 bees. Did I win?
- KiDD420, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3I counted 12, I saw the bee... but I didn't notice his shirt changed at all... what a moron
- picardo, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1I didn't fall for it. I'd seen this same experiment in a computer science class. Whenever anyone tells you to count the number of times something happens, you can guarantee that they are planning to pull the wool over your eyes.
- se1zure, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1I COuld SWEAR I saw a video JUST LIKE THIS, only there was a guy dressied in liek a shark cosutme or something, and it should have been really obvious, but I didn't spot it.
- infinityredux, on 10/12/2007, -15/+7I actually did notice someone entering the screen but I was trying to keep my eyes on the lunchbox so I couldn't see the bee suite
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -14/+3digg for using "haha" in the title
