The op was dumb to use "we move fast here" obviously, because knowing about Palin's Russia line isn't fast but, really, downright average. Everyone and their mom should know about that one by now. However, your entire (valid) admonishment of his stupid line was forfeited when you used your own untrue, hyperbolic, jab of "Liberal Diggtard Masturbation". And here's why...
1) Not all Diggers are liberal. Your existence is all the proof one needs.
2) It will never cease to crack me up that Liberal (and conservative, for that matter) can still be used as legitimate insults against people. Not only does the current usage inaccurately portray the tenets of traditional liberal and conservative political ideology, but in essence, it's the same as using insults like "Christian!!!" and "Jew!!!" because it just boils down to the individual's personal belief system and acting accordingly in their own best interests.
3) Diggtard is such a weak compound insult. The way it's set up, you're included in the aim of the attack too due to its lack of qualifier. The "liberal" only cements that notion, meaning you're either a "conservative diggtard" or just a "plain-old diggtard." Take your pick.
Anyway, if you're voting for Johnny M., that's your right, and I'm at least happy you're utilizing the election system. Just, in the future, cut out the lame insults. They bring the expected and necessary debate that's a cornerstone of the democratic process down to the level of childish name-calling. Make Digg a better place to visit by adjusting your own comment style before you bash anyone else's. But in the end, if you don't like the political tone of the digg community, there's a good trillion other websites out there, so noone's forcing you to keep coming back. - consonance, on 10/10/2008, -0/+12But then you wouldn't be able to see it.
