I have already done those things that you mention. I have had no Joy, my really nice 17 jewel Rotary watch has just gained ten minutes in an hour.!! I collect a few watches, and I have an old Timex that has the same problem, so I thought it would be a good idea to try to fix that first.. I just need to know what to do.. 'Please'.. I am sort of guessing that I need to either push a bit more of the hairspring through, or take it out a bit, is that the right thing to do.?? would be really great if you could steer me in the right direction.. regards howler
