Probably one of the most shocking wardrobe malfunctions of all time happened over 400 years ago. Mary I of Scotland was executed in England by having her head cut off. The executioner went to pick up the severed head to display to the crowd without realizing it was not real hair he was grabbing but rather a wig. As he held the head up for all to see, it fell out of his grasp, hit the ground, bounced and rolled away while the executioner was left holding the wig. You might not think it could have gotten any worse. But then her little dog that was hiding under her large dress scurried out in a panic, covered in blood. It couldn't have been more shocking if it had been choreographed.
