- KickEnemyMen, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Tiger keeps his head amazingly still throughout that!
Also, will that camera technology ever make its way to the adult film industry? - oeidesign, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7another slo mo with a close-up of the ball on impact:

- aleves, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5That was awesome. Everything was done so well from layout to Tiger's swing. Although it would be cool to have a larger version, the multitude of angles helps make up for the size.
- dimplemonkey, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6That was pretty cool. I wish there was a larger version of this available. Anyone?
- OAKsider, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Absolutely Amazing. Wish those captures were around for MJ's perfect form hangtime shots, or something a bit more interesting than a golf swing.
- Mac2492, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4You only want one of them?
- TheCount, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3If you had that swing, you could AFFORD the cam. With the cam, you'd just be a fool with an expensive camera and a whole lot of debt. Does that help you make up your mind on which one to take?
- Milamber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Macromedia's hatrid of Linux users mocks me once more... *sigh* :(
- antoniojvr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Maybe a 360 view with quicktime. That would have been amazing.
- sleazy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I think the mythbusters need to get one of those cameras. More ultrahighspeed explosions, rockets, and projectiles hitting things would be awesome.
- SeanMoney, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Already have the sasquatch driver now for that flawless swing. This is truly a thing of beauty.
- alienz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You can turn off those annoying highlights for the products. This is really awesome, anyone know the web company that does Nike Golf's site? I know who does their basketball work but curious if this is the same group.
- Stecchino, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I was mesmerized for 3 minutes. Very well done.
- TheCount, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Hahaha, YOU are going to give TIGER WOODS, golf advice? Nice one.
- bwiney, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I wish my swing was that nice.
- mousky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The information I could find on the Phantom v5 indicates that it captures 1000 pictures per seconds. The v5.1 captures 1,200 pps. Not sure where Nike got it's 4000 frames per second figure.
- echo1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2yeah the fastest ive seen them use is 1000 fps
- srodolff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1At 512x512 it can capture over 4k frames a sec. Check the speed charts.
http://www.visiblesolutions.com/pdfdocs/v5.1Aspect.pdf - CanuckMakem, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That was sweet..... wish my swing was half as good.
- teeagesee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I WANT ONE!!! And I mean the swing AND the cam! ;)
- srodolff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I especially liked following the tee slowly spinning out of the frame after the hit.
- usherzx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1that was freaking awesome!
- longwang, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1that was cool. the site design was nice. I also liked the youtub clip when the ball was smacked. I had no idea the ball compressed like that.
- antoniojvr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Amazing. I am literally speechless. That was a thing of beauty.
- maverick_swl, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2That camera may record 4000 FPS, but they sure as hell don't show you all that in this video, also its been compressed really badly, so if you pause it, you see JPEG tears. Also, at 4000 FPS there shouldn't be any blurring, but there is, I think they are BS'ing about the camera they used, or its ability, or maybe some dumb tech working that day turned the FSP on the camera down.... no digg, even for flawless form.
- Trini2daBone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I would like it better if the was more contrast of tiger and his actions on a different background. I found it very hard to see.
- VoraciousPanda, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1ha. you wish.
i'm pretty sure you mean 2.8 fps. - ConcertPhotog, on 04/05/2009, -1/+1I just love how the ball squishes on impact in that second video! So how many more years before those cameras hit the consumer marketplace??? And I thought the 14 fps (jpg mode) on my Canon Rebel XT was nice, but that's a whole different ball game!
- smittyfree, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Smitty Approves this digg.
- notdarkyet, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1not really thats one of his main flaws, he tends to dip down his head and then pop back up.
- imyayo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol, how slow do you need it?
- dustek, on 06/10/2009, -0/+0tells you how good he is..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OP9s__0M1Ek - paulclough, on 12/08/2008, -1/+1this is pretty cool - more Tiger Woods info here though ..
http://www.golfing-talk.co.uk - phasespace, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I'm estimating his swing to be one of his faster ones at nearly 140 miles per hour, which then looking at the size of the ball and the frames that it's still visible means that they were shooting at full resolution at about 300 frames per second. To be fair, while his swing is great, the cameras can do low res at 3000 frames per second, watching him swing for a second would take 2 minutes. We are working on a lower cost system that will do 8 megapixels at full res and 10 hertz and 300 frames per second at low res, but low cost to a golf course doesn't do individuals much good. Keep checking at www.phasespace.com for information if you really want your swing analyzed.
- PAmit, on 03/21/2008, -1/+1What a great swing man!! but you don't have to be Tiger to have a good swing. Check out my article about golf swing training equipment: http://www.my-golf-tournament-gifts.com/golf-swing ...
- aresfolly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Considering that he is ranked #1 in eanings among atheletes in the world (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6800794/), that would make the camera so expensive that no one could own it. Unless of course we could convince W. that we needed one to fight the GWOT. He'd have a thousand of them contracted to Brown and Root . . .

- deter1ii, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Did you notice his head didn't move a mm. That was great. I just need one of those cameras and I could be a golf pro too. Of course the cam probably cost more that Tiger has made at pro golf!!!
