Try telling that to the people who grew up watching George Reeves, Dean Cain, and Tom Welling. Or to the people who grew up reading the Comic Books, or listening to the Radio Show, or watching the Cartoons. Superman is a character, who, as far as acting terms goes, is a role that many people can fit in to. He's your classic Serial Chapter Hero, all it really requires is genuine acting. All of the actors did a good job playing him over the years, even Dean Cain wasn't that bad at times.
Anyway, I'm going to head back into my Batman Fanboy status, and then go see Superman at the iMax this weekend.

Each year in June Metropolis has a Superman festival; it has past & present stars form the TV series & movies, people come form all over the world to attend. Although I have never been I hear it’s a great time if you are a superman fan.
