I guess you didn't appreciate my one-liner about his ratings. I'll try harder next time.
I do agree with you that Olbermann is just downright awful on MSNBC. It's not so much that I disagree with him on everything (even though I do), but I have a problem with his monotone blabbering. He just drones on and on and on and on. It never ends. By the time he gets to the point, I've lost interest.
P.S. I'm not an O'Reilly fan either, but at least his ratings aren't in the toilet (Olbermann's the worst in that time slot). - elebrio, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Im pretty center actually. I don't like Olbermann though - or O'Reilly for that matter.
- BullyJack, on 10/12/2007, -5/+9I guess his ratings just suck in general.
P.S. Liberal diggers usually love Olbermann stories. Where's the love? Where are all of the diggs? - ChaimRubin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It may have been on the NY Post but he hasn't denied it and it is true. So what, no shock that lefty sites are ignoring it, it makes their leader look bad.

Olbermann seems to be part of the Holy Trinity (Olbermann, Stewart, Colbert) of Bush-bashing on Digg. ("Hmm...wonder what's on Digg right now? Let's see: 18 Daily Show clips, 20 Colbert Report clips, 5 Olbermann clips, and a few news stories -- each of which is described as "Bush's fascist regime getting PWNED!!!!!!!!!")
I do like the scrutiny that the liberal and radical activists are putting on the President's policies via Digg (I think all politician's actions should be similarly scrutinized), but the constant hyping of the Holy Trinity makes the coverage boorishly partisan. I don't see the pseudo-cons hyping Dubya/Horowitz/Pipes/O'Reilly/Hannity, the conservatives hyping Dobson/ MacDonald/Buchanan/Brimelow/Roberts, or the libertarians hyping Sowell/Elder/Bovard/South Park. To get to the truth, you need to see a good tug-of-war between different viewpoints. - wierdaaron, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2This is according to the New York Post, who hate Olbermann with some unnatural furor.
Remember earlier this month, they reported about Keith being sent a fake anthrax letter and made up a bunch of lies about it? This is just more of the same. There are some newspapers that when approached by someone who says "I had sex with a famous person" they'll be shown the door. - Popdmb, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I was checking your comments and they seem progressive. That doesn't necessarily mean left. Sorry about that, guy.
Both of them aren't strong political figures, but simply partisan hacks. One screams very loud and one's an outspoken voice of dissent. It's really better that they both go away. - Popdmb, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2I submitted this story yesterday. Elebrio submitted it today. We both tend to lean left. Where were the GOP hacks who usually love "Olbermann sucks" stories?
I'm indifferent about Olbermann since he jumped to MSNBC (MUCH better on Sportscenter), but his ratings have jumped 70% since his first outburst against Bush.
When you know nothing, you generally want to avoid the 'submit comment' button, BullyJack. Just throwing that out there.
