True his jokes aren't that intelligent. They don't consist of puns or even punchlines. But that's not his style. He's a slapstick comedian. He makes people laugh through his delivery not the words them self. That's a perfectly legit form of comedy.

        If you don't like him don't watch him. But there are plenty of people who enjoy his style. Including myself. So quit hating and quit bitching.

        Dane Cook is no different than other slapstick comedians like Jim Carrey or the Three Stooges

Of course, he was not the only one, but point being - there will always be regular comedians and occasionally, we will get a transcendent genius like Lenny Bruce, Pryor, Carlin, or Bill Hicks to make all the other ones look bad. I think Dane Cook can keep doing what he's doing, it doesn't negate the greatness of the aforementioned comedians.

Their focus team says it's gonna be what people hoped Spore was going to be. Then, an employee from EA looks around their office, faxes all those ideas to EA HQ, and puts out a sci-fi shooter called "Osmosis" that uses every idea they had, gets awards all around, and even when direct evidence of stealing came around, no one cared and said...

      "Lighten up."

        I live in Berlin and no-one picks up here, its a nightmare. Dogs are banned from all parks for this very reason, and they are given special areas to foul. Doesn't matter however as the selfish dog owners still let the dogs crap in the street.

    He was hilarious to listen to while I finished up college. After that, I grew up and began listening to real comedians; George Carlin, Lewis Black, Bill Maher, Colbert & Stewart.

    Everyone's bound to grow up eventually. When they choose to do so is at their discretion.

        I'll stop fighting about it when it stops having a pervasive negative influence. If it were neutral (not even positive, but neutral) I wouldn't have the slightest complaint.
