Christina Applegate Is A Bad Ass
scandalouscandice.com — Christina Applegate made a hardcore choice to get in front of her cancer and thwart any chances of it coming back. She decided to have a double mastectomy even though she only had cancer in one of her breasts. Such a hard decision to make all the while she is able to have a laugh about it.

- urbandistrict, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1orlando69 I think you might be a little too unrealistically optimistic about that surgery. Not to be a naysayer, but it's still likely the cancer could return. The hope is that the surgery did not spread the cancer. From the article it appears she is in good spirits and jokingly sees the upside to reconstructive surgery so it seems she's taking steps in the right direction for recovery. I wish her the best, and I wish we can eradicate this awful disease.
