- techdever, on 07/01/2009, -2/+24BILLY MAYS SHOULD BE WRITTEN IN CAPS

- jakerandell, on 07/01/2009, -2/+20THIS IS THE UGLIEST INFO GRAPHIC EVER MADE.

- gwjc, on 07/01/2009, -1/+15Jerry Rosenberg died of natural causes; he received a stay of execution and his death sentence was commuted to life in prison.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerry_Rosenberg - Takfam, on 07/01/2009, -1/+15I don't know who half of those people are. Whoever made this has a pretty loose definition of "celebrity."
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -2/+14BILLY MAYS WAS THE KING.
- backflipper, on 07/01/2009, -1/+13BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE. IF YOU CALL IN THE NEXT 20 MINUTES, WE WILL INCLUDE BRAIN FAIL AND ACCIDENT. JUST PAY SEPARATE SHIPPING AND HANDLING.
- realeskimopimp, on 07/01/2009, -1/+12Michael Jackson who?
- akchrs, on 07/01/2009, -0/+11Davis Carradine is listed as suicide and accidental. They needed a masturbation gone wrong gumball.
- thegamingguy, on 07/01/2009, -0/+11I have never heard/read the phrase "enlarges the gumballs" in my whole life, that is awesome.
- geniusNOTatWORK, on 07/01/2009, -0/+9http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/6493/gumballfix ...
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -1/+9Buried for not putting BILLY MAYS in large letters.
- Moderatorated, on 07/01/2009, -0/+7Yes. Candy and Death. =)
- Peach3s, on 07/01/2009, -2/+8candy?
- mccartyba, on 07/01/2009, -0/+5Yeah, just by scanning I only recognized Jackson, Carradine, Fawcett, and Mays.
I saw Dusty Rhodes and was sad, but then saw it was not The American Dream. - Rain12913, on 07/01/2009, -0/+5Even enlarged, those gumballs are mighty hard to read.
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -2/+7crustiest infographic ever
- jwmann, on 07/01/2009, -0/+4Suicide is inside the mouth of the ball machine.
It's magenta. - AmyVernon, on 07/01/2009, -0/+4It was an interesting way to arrange the info, but seemed a little weird inside gumballs... :-)
- BeShirtHappy, on 07/01/2009, -2/+6Click on it and it enlarges the gumballs so you can read it better.
- Rain12913, on 07/01/2009, -0/+4Buried for using "large letters' instead of capitals.
- alvarezx00, on 07/01/2009, -3/+7BUT WAIT THEIRS MORE...
- SpeedSteamBoat, on 07/01/2009, -4/+8Not only was this graphic created with over 9000 hours in MSPaint but it's impossible to read, contains inaccuracies, and is populated mostly by people who aren't really celebrities.
Buried. - PuNK45S, on 07/01/2009, -0/+3It's all for June...read the title
- FrizzleyFry, on 07/01/2009, -0/+3For May? Does time move backwards where you are?
- ladysherwood, on 07/01/2009, -0/+3well you've got me beat, I only know who like 3 others besides the "large print" ones were. I thought they were just scanning obits of random cities or something.
- zadadka, on 07/01/2009, -0/+3And this evening, I read that Karl Malden has passed on, as has Mollie Sugden (a UK TV personality).
- ne0codex, on 07/01/2009, -0/+3HEART FAIL
- Andrwmorph, on 07/01/2009, -0/+3Remember the good ol' days when all the celebs died of drug overdoses? Now its all "natural causes" and boring stuff like that.
- qxrt, on 07/01/2009, -2/+4How are people like Neda counted as "celebrities"? The only reason she is on the list in the first place is that she died, which kind of makes it a circular argument that hers was a "celebrity death."
- DaviDTC, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2And David Carradine died on the 3rd, not the 4th.
- cbrophy78, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2that looked horrible
dugg for effort - dwninjungleland, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2RIP Father King
- hushpuppy20, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2I wanted a red one but I always end up with yellow. I want my quarter back!
Red = Heart Fail, but for a quarter I should get what I want!!! - SkippyDoorknob, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2Toxicology report is not done yet.
- ChronicColonic, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2My favorite website for dead celebrity searching: http://www.deadoraliveinfo.com/
The interface is dated, but it still has great information. - jhandfield, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2Aw, David Eddings died? Guess it shows how big an author he is these days that little if any fuss was made over it.
- speel, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2RIP IZ THE WIZ
- gerrylazlo, on 07/01/2009, -2/+4Don't put black text on blue background. Script no less. There is white text on the black and red ball, why not continue using it for the other dark colors?
- OLTP, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2Brain fail?
- jacksim, on 07/01/2009, -1/+3And for may we already have Karl Malden :-(
- jabon13, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2All in June.
- travcm, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1Yeah, I noticed that as well. Looks like his death was accidental, which doesn't fit in either category.
- Hindukid, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1It also included Neda in there too, while I agree she is an important person, I just don't think celebrity is what I would use to describe her.
- renanrrinaldi, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1Indeed!
- dafragsta, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1Uggh.. Time to regurgitate Tool. Everyone things everything is more insightful coming from rock stars. I had a big tangent of thought on this the other day, thinking it wasn't true. I don't obsess over someone's death the way most people seem to obsess over EVERYONE'S death, apparently. I certainly don't enjoy it.I feel sympathetic when bad things happen to people and I really don't feel the need to repeat the same vicarious condolence with all the other people who have vicarious losses to mourn.
Did the world lose a tremendous talent with Michael Jackson and lots of other talented people, most definitely. However, I thought talking about it for days as if everyone was in the inner circle just seems so disingenuous and self serving. Maybe that's just because that's not me, and I'm not trying to be better than anyone, but I seriously thought people had enough of a fear of their own mortality to show some respect and keep a respectful distance. The families sure do seem to ask for that every time/ (even if Joe Jackson seems to have a love affair with the camera.)
Why does every ***** link from any story about any recently deceased celebrity have to make the front page and furthermore, why is it newsworthy and how is it respectful of the privacy. If anything, it's as if the death was a spectacle that was to be appreciated apart from the person's life.
Eye on the TV
'cause tragedy thrills me
Whatever flavor it happens to be.
Like:
"Killed by the husband" ...
"Drowned by the ocean" ...
"Shot by his own son" ...
"She used a poison in his tea,
Then (she) kissed him goodbye"
That's my kind of story
It's no fun til someone dies.
Don't look me at like I am a monster
Frown out your one face, but with the other (you)
Stare like a junkie into the TV
Stare like a zombie while the mother holds her child,
Watches him die,
Hands to the sky cryin "why, oh why?"
Cause I need to watch things die from a distance
Vicariously, I live while the whole world dies
You all need it too - don't lie. - renanrrinaldi, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1WHERE IS MY CELEBRITY DEATH CRYSTAL BALL??
