      2 things though.

      1: Load the vid from 4:44. That jump and land straight into c-walk is what hooked me. This kid has some serious skill.

      2: How many times do you reckon this guy broke his ankle(s) c-walking? Some of the ***** he pulls off makes you wonder if amateurs've ended up in the ER trying to copy it.

    • Mpwns, on 07/28/2008, -2/+1i think ddr can help you get better at c-walk since c-walk takes up only a little more area than the pad. playing doubles at the aracde would work best to help with moving your feet around at odd angles. and it also looks like he played alot of ddr him self.

    • ZenFu, on 07/28/2008, -0/+1Take it from an old DDR (now PIU NX) player . The guy in the vid was either playing a REALLY easy song with almost no arrows or he was just freestyling on a spare DDR machine.

      Arrows glow when you hit them and this guy was sliding over them without most lighting up. DDR can be freestyled easily but you still have to put some force into your stomping otherwise the arrows won't register it.

      But yeah, DDR can kinda help people with c-walking as it requires really fast foot movement. After you've gotten used to moving your legs into different positions rapidly, c-walking becomes less difficult.

      Correct me if I'm wrong, but this use to be an informative site. Had great articles about technology and gadgets, but is now overrun by "who can be the funniest" or "what new trends can I force today?" (I've been a member for quite a bit, despite what my register date says)

      Why don't I leave? There's still great stuff here, occasionally, but majority of it is that I'm a complainer... if I left this site, my day would be boring. I need something to complain about :)

I see it as a subset of breakdancing, but requiring much less dexterity and much more limited in terms of techniques to master. So, I don't think you can really call artistry useless and judge it in terms of utility five years from now. Monet's paintings are pretty useless and so is being a ballerina, but people still felt a need to express themselves through those mediums.
