It is also common to see many of the Native American alligator wrestlers subscribing to this practice of taping the jaws shut when there is a danger of an inexperienced person getting hurt. Its like the rubber bands on a lobsters claws. WTF else are you gonna do? Moreover, alligators are not endangered nor are they "special." Alligator hunting season does exist, (which means they are expendable to a certain extent) and is an essential part of maintaining balance within the Everglades. PETA sucks my NUTS!

Fuggetaboutit. Luckily I can usually reach him before the cat suffocates, drowns or explodes. Yesterday, I said, "That's it! Enough." So i rang up PETA and told them how unethical my child's behavior was and would you believe that started in on ME? They told me a four-year-old shouldn't have a kitten in the first place. "It's OUR kitten," I told them, but they weren't having any of it. "If you can't maintain a distance between the child and the kitten you are an "unfit parent AND pet-keeper." Nothing I said could convince them to take action against the child and not me. They threatened lawsuits and publicity and until I finally said "Fine. Fine. What can we do? I just want what's best for the kitten." They said they'd send someone over to collect it. Goddamn that PETA. They never showed. So, I did the right thing. Of course human safety comes first but she didn't have to use the alligator if it wasn't safe to do so. Just remember this animal wasn't being handled for an important task. An animal is more important then a photo for an album. While I support their effort, there are just some instances where an animal has to be handled correctly in order for someone to not get hurt.

This seems to happen to any organisation, they are not actually trying to fix things, but they are always having the opinion people expect them to have. For example people expect Greenpeace to be against Nuclear power even if it would be the best option atm (And I think it is..).
