- fuzzmeister, on 10/11/2007, -1/+58Seems like they are finally realizing how ridiculous their fixation on people like Hilton is making them look.
- nubnub, on 10/11/2007, -2/+57LET THE GOD DAMN PARIS HILTON ***** PASS ALREADY. WHO ***** CARES. THERE ARE BIGGER ISSUES IN THE WORLD THAN THAT DUMB BITCH BEING ARRESTED.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+47If only matt and trey could interview her for another south park episode
- mandarin, on 10/11/2007, -5/+41What would FOX do?
- Kahnza, on 10/11/2007, -0/+26I've never understood peoples fascination with celebrities and wanting to know everything about them. Gossiping about it with friends and stuff. BORING.
- PhilM, on 10/11/2007, -2/+28Not getting the undeserved attention she is used to will do this useless excuse for a celebrity some good.
- DteK, on 10/11/2007, -2/+27Bravo ABC and NBC.... Bravo.
- ummagummas08, on 10/11/2007, -0/+18Wait, is she out already, or did someone pull strings again?
- FidelBlack, on 10/11/2007, -0/+16Independent network news analyst Andrew Tyndall said paying for a Hilton interview would pose at least two problems.
"One, you're not supposed to pay news sources, and two, you've decided that Paris Hilton is an important enough story to violate that rule. And probably the second sin is even worse than the first."
Amen! - cheesefan, on 10/11/2007, -2/+18Give her a show...
Oh wait. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -4/+17Paris Hilton is ugly. Eww...
- LilRabbitFooFoo, on 08/11/2008, -3/+16awful nose
no *****
bony body
drooping left eye
in short, the face of a bad Vegas drag queen...and she's got herpes to boot - bedouin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12This was perhaps the one time I didn't mind a message being written in all caps.
- LilRabbitFooFoo, on 08/11/2008, -1/+11She's not even a celebrity. She's a debutart or a celebutard, but since she's not a legitimate actress, I don't think the word celebrity applies.
- MystifiedGlobe, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10...Paris Hilton...
/buried as lame. - epyon180, on 10/11/2007, -4/+14(God I HATE THIS NEW COMMENT SYSTEM)
of course FOX would milk this story for every penny that its worth. - Sazafraz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9Doesn't Fox news generally cover the ***** stories anyway?
- CaptnHector, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Isn't it illegal to profit from a crime?
- evodevo1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Larry King is going to have an HOUR long interview with her on Wednesday, June 27. What does that say about Larry King? You be the judge. In my book he is not worth my time sitting on the toilet.
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/larry.king.live/ - nerogtr, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5wow....she looks the same 5 years later. who ***** cares?
- BarneyF, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Good news, but buried for being about Paris Hilton and therefore lame.
- acid0426, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5She actually is a celebrity, but only because people made her one. She didn't earn anything on her own, it was either given to her directly or indirectly. People who hate her do nothing but give her more attention and do nothing but solidify her celeb status. Know what makes her a celeb? The fact that people can't stop talking about her, good or bad.
- thedragon4453, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Agreed, new comment system is retarded. And yeah, wasn't it fox that wanted to do an OJ story? Like the "what if" i did it thing?
- 2oonhed, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Could it be? >gasp< that "Paris Hilton" is finally played out?....it looks like ABC & NBC think so.....(finally).
- techmaster, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5That hoe is already being released? There's no way she's been in jail for 23 days, and it was supposed to have been increased back to the original 40 after that stunt she pulled.
- CDHarrisUSF, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5Bravo was not involved.
Speaking of Bravo, that just gave me a weird thought: Paris Hilton on Inside the Actors Studio
I feel as if I've lost IQ points just by imagining how that would play out. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+6The ugly chick's gonna be freed on Tuesday? God save the world.
- MewTwo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3haha... I like at the bottom "0 diggs" I thought there was always at least one.
- Subterfug, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3She hasn't done enough time for her name to be out of the spotlight yet. No reason to free her.
- jazzjeff, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Congratulations to all the stations that are NOT interviewing this stupid waste bag of bones.
Good to see somebody with sense is out there. They should be applauded for their decision.
Will someone please get that stupid arse banged slapper off our TV and cinema screens... PLEASE!!!
Add Britney and Lohan to the list. - PrometheuZ, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3All I know is she'll be on Larry King Wednesday night for the whole hour.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Jesus i hope this is true and other networks Follow !! Like the E! Channel, Oxygen Channel, FOX , CBS and all other affiliates
I hope they all ignore her than she will just fade away from the spotlight .....like she never existed....taht will be a plus on our society
but because Barbara Walters rubs Paris Hilton's mothers snatch no doubt the View will be all over for an exclusive interview about how her life is all turned around now !! Jesus someone just kill her with a shank before she gets out !! As thin as she is she would just flow down the shower drain !
My bet my soul she has already sucked a guard off or fingered an inmate for extras....like shower time, food , incentives etc cause she's a nympho - miriclaire, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3This is the ONLY type of news I want to hear about Paris. Our NEXT move is to STOP DIGGING HER NAME at all--maybe she will just grow old somewhere, unnocticed!
- acid0426, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4"That hoe is already being released? There's no way she's been in jail for 23 days, and it was supposed to have been increased back to the original 40 after that stunt she pulled."
Most citizens in LA only serve 25%-40% of their sentence due to overcrowding. She's already past 50% so this can't be called unfair or special treatment. - smacksaw, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Well, I'm glad they have journalistic integrity when it comes to the important things like Paris Hilton. Why are we not investigating this Executive Order stuff with Cheney not being part of the Executive Branch? It's too bad Cheney isn't a celebutante socialite...we might get a sniff of integrity and get some investigation going on there.
- shakdang, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2"An ABC executive said his network declined interview offers from the multimillionaire socialite after Hilton and her mother, Kathy, personally sought to secure a deal in a flurry of telephone calls to ABC News veteran Barbara Walters."
Imagine that, Hello! I am Paris' mom speaking, I am currently whoring Paris and was wondering if you would like to interview Paris before she goes off to jail? Yes you can exploit her all you want *laugh* she's pretty good at it I promise you. $200,000? are you breaking my balls chuck? tell me where can you get such a primo jerk to exploit with a big (sad) fan following today? ...... apart from tom Cruise. - miriclaire, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Now we DIGGERS have got to STOP putting her name out there, too!
- Fordi, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Hey, someone's gotta keep the rubes distracted. How else are They gonna get away with some of the ***** They pull?
- miriclaire, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Now we DIGGERS have got to STOP putting her name out there, too!
- AndrewDB, on 01/10/2008, -0/+2If ABC and NBC aren't caring about her, isn't about time that Digg stopped caring about her too..?
- daleok, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Congrats to ABC and NBC. They recognize that this "interview" would be completely meaningless and without value. Hilton has absolutely nothing to say that would be interesting to anyone anywhere. She is an empty shell and contributes nothing to society or to life in general. She is a useless piece of flesh who has no talent, no skills and, for all I care, can go party herself into oblivion after she gets out of jail. Because that is all she will do anyway.
- badapplestudio, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I don't need to hear about this bitch again until she gets shived. And then I only need to know how many times.
- tddk, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2LOL and you want to know why they are interviewing her, because she now even makes digg....so if youd read this, youll want to see her interview as well most likely.
You are inadvertently giving her attention...how ironic. - Jrr6415sun, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Paris Hilton news is everywhere now that she's in jail. I think this is more attention than she's ever gotten in her life.
- miriclaire, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Now DIGGERS have to think so!
- truman48, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1My first question would be "Why is your left eye so f'ed up?"
- cquinnd, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1see acid0426's comment below.
- miriclaire, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1http://miridunn.newsvine.com/_news/2007/06/24/800182-make-digg-a-paris-free-zone
- motang, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Yeah FOX wanted to but they backed down at the last moment when all the people stated yelling at them.
- cquinnd, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1It would be illegal to use celebrity gained from the commission of a crime to generate further profit. But she was technically a "celebrity" before the crimes were committed. So the worst that could happen is if the court puts an injunction on her being able to sell the story of the events that led to her going to jail, but she can still be paid for an interview about being in jail.
