No matter how much the banks and other loan sharks try to seduce you into debt (which is only profitable for THEM) say "No thanks. I am a grown up person. I can wait till I saved enough so I can really afford it. Bye."
    Not always easy, but in the long run it really pays off, and you sleep a whole lot better.
