- micro-managing creative
- hiring different firms to complete different parts of a campaign
- omitting research
- hiring subcontractors and foisting them on your design team. let your team choose their favorites, it'll go more smoothly.
- not raising red flags or expressing misgivings when they surface. The client is paying the agency to handhold, so use that. It might sound like bellyaching, but the alternative is a client who doesn't communicate enough or throws up surprises.
