Not one person, except for me, mentioned the reasons you give. They just kind of looked at me when I weighed in on the subject. I then asked if they thought the papers that are going down in circulation were liberally slanted, and they said "yes". I then asked if they were aware of all the alternative sources - "no", they didn't get on the internet for their news. (I wanted to mention that their generation was not up to learning new technologies - like the computer and the internet.... but I kept it zipped.)
See, there you go! I mentioned, in a kind and courteous way, that they may want to start, as the newspaper may soon be a thing of the past. Of course, I plugged my blog.... :) - jlakely, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1As the author of that post, I couldn't agree more, Icononclast. Thanks for reading.
