- inactive, on 11/07/2008, -0/+23The best part of this one? Cavuto cuts thru the usual bias at the end saying, and I quote: "...You were warning about this before anyone was..." That, oh whiners, is why Dr. Ron Paul was THE ONLY REPUBLICAN WHO EVER HAD A CHANCE THIS TIME. "Experts" who loudly proclaimed "Ron Paul can't win" look more idiotic than ever, and that's goin' some!!
- tajitj, on 11/07/2008, -0/+19People do not realize we are just printing the money for the bailout. Then we go and pay interest on the money we print.
Dr. Pauls website.
http://campaignforliberty.com/ - Jeezopete, on 11/07/2008, -0/+15The Fed Reserve which is A PRIVATE INSTITUTION has MANUFACTURED THIS CRISIS for many years...that then enables them to present the SOLUTION which will include more power and control over the US and introduce a World Monetary Structure and a New World Order which will destroy our sovereignty as a nation!!!
END THE FED!!! Nationwide rally Nov 22 !!
http://www.endthefed.us/ - blorc, on 11/07/2008, -1/+12I want to believe that Neil Cavuto is actually coming around to see what Ron Paul has been saying, but he still works for FOX so I have to be skeptical. Most likely it's just FOX pulling a CYA tactic now that Obama's in the White House.
- Trekhawk, on 11/07/2008, -0/+11Printing more money is not the answer! It never is. Not only does it lead to inflation, but that inflation is in turn a tax. You're money is worth less. The money you responsibly saved is worth less. It might just be better to tax us overtly rather than surreptitiously so the public can be aware of how badly they're being f*cked!
- thechr0nic, on 11/07/2008, -0/+9how terribly immature of us to want to uphold the constitution and have sound money and want to limit the size of government and protect every persons rights and liberties...
You couldn't be more right, we are sooo immature for that. Maybe some day we will grow up and be all smart and wise like you. - Bilabrin, on 11/07/2008, -0/+8I keep hearing "world leaders work to stop falling markets".
I laugh. It's too late.
The only thing which will fax the economy is smart investment, hard work and producing something that society wants and needs. Not cheap shell game tricks. We're too smart for that.
The bailout added just enough liquidity to allow for more investors to pull out and stick the public with bad IOU's. - gonzap1, on 11/07/2008, -0/+8The future is so bright..I gotta wear shades (reality hits). We are Fu#%ed! Let the countdown begin and lets get ready for launch.
Bang the monkey on those congresmen/women!!!!
"Till the day that the blood of patriots must water the tree of liberty" - cabdirazzaq, on 11/07/2008, -0/+7Somebody please get this story to the frontpage!

It's a recent interview with Ron Paul where he shares his thoughts on the upcoming Obama presidency. - kigcoopa84, on 11/07/2008, -0/+7paying interest should be the least of our worries. See: hyperinflation and the Wiemar republic.
- brad3378, on 11/08/2008, -0/+4If I invest in commodity stocks in an inflationary environment,
it's like being taxed three times.
1) When I earn the money at my day job that will eventually be invested in the market
2) When I pay capital gains taxes on sales of my investments
(If I'm lucky enough for them to go up in value)
3) When I lose purchasing power via the "inflation tax".
Some people might even argue that the risk involved could be considered a 4th tax, but I won't go that far.
No matter how you say it, the system is rigged against people that want to save money. - Deeh, on 11/08/2008, -2/+6This sgiffy....probably a Bush supporter dealing with his shame.
- Plasmatica, on 11/08/2008, -0/+2For you to suggest that he was stating an obvious and predictable thing, is more telling of the society we live in than it is about Ron Paul himself. The fact that most people in the US, and to a large extent all over the world, couldn't foresee this happening is stunning. But I guess the whole problem is more a result of malicious intents than stupidity.
- vtnerd, on 11/07/2008, -1/+3Whatever gets the message out to the dolts who picked McCain in the primaries. If Fox is giving those McCain supporters an education, then so be it.
- gonzap1, on 11/08/2008, -2/+1dug down for lame comeback.
- sgiffy, on 11/07/2008, -3/+1No we're selling bonds to raise the money. Huge difference.
- sgiffy, on 11/08/2008, -5/+1No he was predicting an inevitable thing. There is a difference. Downturns happen, saying that is not more stunning than saying that the sun will rise. He also got the reason for the downturn mostly wrong. It has little to do with the fiat money or with inflation.
- sgiffy, on 11/07/2008, -7/+1It's going to rain, it's going to rain, it's going to rain. HOLY ***** IT'S RAINING I"M A PROPHET. Oh wait it stopped. It's going to rain, it's going to...
- sgiffy, on 11/07/2008, -9/+1You guys still at this huh? Thought you would have grown up by now.
- sgiffy, on 11/08/2008, -10/+1Right because the only two alternatives are Ron Paul and Bush.
