All media EMPLOYEES need to FORCE these issues; or resign in protest..........

http://digg.com/business_finance/Ron_Paul_on_the_G ... - richmomz, on 09/19/2008, -9/+126There is a very good reason why Ron Paul has such a huge and devoted following despite the media ignoring his campaign almost entirely. It's because the guy has been stunningly, consistently, RIGHT about where our country is headed for years.
- Parapadrifter, on 09/18/2008, -8/+111It's all about disclosure. God damn I hate that no body realizes what's happening
- inactive, on 09/19/2008, -13/+91You can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink. Ron Paul was the water that the Liberty Tree needed to flourish. Sadly, he was demonized and shunned. Now the Liberty Tree will require its second source of sustenance...the blood of patriots and tyrants.
When you and your family are starving. When you are being removed from your home. When your TV/Cable/Video games are taken from you and you have to face what is happening in the real world? There is someone to blame! Find the closest mirror and you'll know the culprit. - tkubic46, on 09/18/2008, -17/+90There is no doubt going to be a huge economic collapse soon one day or our government is going to go 100% communist and take over everything in our country.
- ok1jwc, on 09/19/2008, -33/+95Sad that we are squeezed by the idot- Marxists Omamma lovers, and the War-mongering Facist Mclame lovers,

Choose the road that the founding fathers picked for us. LIBERTY!

Have you even looked at Obama's foreign policy? He wants to expand the war in Afghanistan and send ten's of thousands of more U.S. troops over there.
So he's gona cut back in Iraq (not fully withdraw) --> then send all the tired and pissed off soldiers off to another foreign land to fight a war that even NATO admit they aren't winning. The afghanistan war will not end for another 20+ years. You can expect more 1000's of dead U.S. troops if not 10,000's of dead due to the ghastly length of this encounter.
Congrats for keeping the status quo of $1 trillion a year on foreign wars.
Why are we into nation building? It's not part of our constitution. Why do we take the role of policeman of the world?
Obama fails to address the monetary policy of the U.S.
Way to fail core economics obama.. you can all always piss around the edges by talking about lowering taxes for the middle-class and similar types of *****. But the core negative effect is the hidden-inflation tax.
Obama fails at understanding the core elements which are ruining our economy. He will only make things worse. He will encourage more FED loans and more war spending
Please, do not get sucked in by his "change" *****.
Look at the policies, look at the facts, see through all the *****. - Ghoztt, on 09/19/2008, -6/+53I'm laughing my ass off right now.

Yikes.
The Community Reinvestment Act actually REQUIRES banks to make subprime loans. Couple that with artificially low interest rates set by the fed and no wonder we're in this situation.
And people claim additional regulation is a solution? It is regulation that created the subprime meltdown in the first place!

- ciaran036, on 09/19/2008, -27/+52Here is a quotation from David Icke in his 1998 best-selling book, 'The Biggest Secret':
“Other aspects of the Brotherhood Agenda, across the ‘Millennium’ and
the years to 2012, include: a global financial collapse to introduce the one-world
electronic currency; conflicts and terrorism galore; and a whole range of other events to
terrify and dispirit the human population into unquestioning servitude.”
More specifically about these planned "conflicts and terrorism galore":
“the plan is to engineer events, real and staged, that will create enormous fear in the countdown years to 2012. This includes a plan to start a third world war either by stimulating the Muslim world into a Holy War against the West or by using China to cause global conflict. Maybe both.”
"Between 2000 and 2002, the United States will suffer a major attack on a large city." (January, 1999)
Recent conflicts: Georgia-Russia, Israel-Palestine, Israel-Lebanon, US-Iraq, US-Afghanistan, US-Palestine
Recent terrorism: 9/11, 2005 London Bombings, 2004 Madrid bombings, 1998 Omagh bombings. Might I also point out that in every single one of these terrorist attacks there are also credible alternative theories, which usually involve state-sponsored terrorism? Right now, Omagh bombing families of victims have forced the British government to further investigate the bombings, of which the leading victims family member has recently stated that "British agents responsible for Omagh bombings", the same way as 9/11 victim families say it was an inside job. Do the research people - do not listen to us truthers! Read David Icke! Read Alex Jones! Investigate! Ask questions!
Got your attention so far?
Well, here's a summary of what's in store for us, as written in 1998 by 'crazy conspiracy nut' David Icke:
“The basic structure is designed around a
world government which would take all the major decisions in the world. This would control a world central bank, currency (electronic, no cash), and army. All this would be underpinned by a microchipped population linked to a global
computer. Under this structure would come three superstates - the European Union, the
American Union, and the Pacific Union (Asia, Far East, Australia). This edifice of
power would dictate to the current nation states which are planned to be broken up into
regions to dismantle any unified response to the structure I’ve described. It would, quite
simply, be a global fascist dictatorship and we are so close to this unless there is a
revolution of thinking among the mass of humanity. The network I have summarised in
this chapter allows for this Agenda to unfold because there are Brotherhood agents
working within all the political and economic groups needed to make it happen. The
more global problems that can be created, the more pressure there will be for global
solutions - the centralised control. The second tier, the ‘unions’ of superstates, is well on
the way.”
Remember how the European Union has attempted to turn Europe into an undemocratic federal superstate through the 'Lisbon Treaty', which failed because the Irish voted no? But it was reported just days ago that they are secretly trying to force a second vote on the Irish, and European President, Nicolas Sarkozy stated that he will not take no for an answer and will keep giving referendums until we give the RIGHT answer! David Icke predicted this would happen in 1996: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-633400512 ... (it's long but the predictions are in there!)
“Other elements of the Agenda include the microchipping of the global population;
the complete control of energy supplies, the destruction of alternative forms of healing
that expose established medicine as a fraud; and global marshal law”
Remember the Marshal Law we've experienced during Hurricane Katrina and at the Republican and Democratic National Conventions? That's just the start of it! And keep in mind that this was written in 1998! Microchipping humans sounded ludicrous in 1998, but after media hype of missing and kidnapped kids, particularly in Western regions, we have seen more and more people become interested in microchipping. And why is that bad? Because this microchip will be used for every element of our lives, including paying for things. We step outside the dictated 'norm', and our microchip will be disabled. They will make us depend on this chip for everything, and without it we will die.
Don't sit here and think, "Wow, fascinating", in the face of economic depression and facism, we must stand up and stop this!
As David Icke would say, we are the robots and this is the ROBOT'S REBELLION! Do something! (Post this on blogs, message boards, websites, wikipedia, digg it, make a video on YouTube - broadcast it and make sure that no-one has an excuse to sit back and allow this!) - JohnLawson, on 09/19/2008, -2/+25Ignorance is bliss...
sad sad world we live in. - seocookie, on 09/19/2008, -8/+30If only Obama and McCain could get on an intellectual level that Ron Paul reaches every time he speaks. Obama blames Wall Street, McCain blames Wall Street, but in all honesty, Wall Street comprises about 0.0000000000000000000001% of the real estate market in the United States, and considering policy isn't created at Wall Street, how can you blame the interpreters of financial information for all this?? You can't. You blame the policy makers creating the policy at fault, and the institutions that implement them.
- inactive, on 09/19/2008, -9/+29Throwing around terms like marxist, as fun as it is, is very un-true. Obama follows more of a Keynesian economic policy. And McCaine more of a John Stewart Mill and a little Adam smith doctrine.
Ron Paul on the other hand is completely and utterly against regulation like a hardcore Adam Smith conservative. Which is fine and all depending on your personal economic policies but to issue ad hominem attacks basing the two candidates economic policies on either marxist or fascist is...absurd and completely non-intellectual.
But I forgot on Digg radical statements get Diggs. We can analyze comments for merit or intelligence after we digg them right? Or in most people's cases...never. - Pssdoff, on 09/19/2008, -0/+19You know what's worse than the holocaust? The Bubonic Plague.
- Ebacherville, on 09/19/2008, -3/+22Look at his voting record, he did everything he could in a crooked party/system.. the only better thing he could have done, was start taking these goons out.. but he believes in the rule of law, personal liberties and not killing people.
The person to blame is you and every other sheep following the crowd.
Get educated, learn the truth about your world. And that doesn't mean watching the news on TV. - djfonz, on 09/19/2008, -4/+22Wow, Some economist on Glenn Beck just mentioned that the only way to get America out of this crisis is for Ron Paul to be elected, and that we should write him in. I liked Beck's expression.
- Lawofnations, on 09/19/2008, -0/+18I was interviewed by CNN the day after the Rally for the Republic. The guy asked what I was in town for. I told him I was there to support one of the two Republican candidates. He looked confused and asked "Who?" I said "Ron Paul." He immediately replied "But you KNOW he has no chance of winning." I said "He has a 100% chance of winning but the mainstream media has a standing policy of giving the American people false or misleading information about what is really going on in this country." Interview over.
- rootfiend, on 09/19/2008, -0/+18If you really want to get specific, Ron Paul is a Mises free-market advocate.
- rroeserr, on 09/19/2008, -1/+19@Mediablitz you're an idiot. Jimmy Carter left the country in shambles, leading to Reagan cleaning up the mess. The Federal Reserve is blamed for the depression by the Chicago school of Economics- Bernake admitted it, and that was a creation of the Democratic party. LBJ, and Kennedy got us into 'nam, causing stagflation. What have the democrats dug us out of?
Dems got us into Nam, WWI WWII, created Fed, created income tax leading to huge federal government and debt, got us into Korea...Obama wants to add more troops to Afghanistan, send support to Georgia, and takes nothing off the table for Iran.
If you want to support a liberal support Nader, but don't pretend the democrats are any better then the republicans. - beasty_dave_Mk2, on 09/19/2008, -0/+16@mediablitz
watch the video tell me what you disagree with please.
Is there any part that the Dr. has wrong in your opinion, specifically? - inactive, on 09/19/2008, -2/+17He's also a warmonger and loves Sarah Palin, and therefore not a libertarian really. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm a libertarian myself, but Beck is not.
- mdarda36278, on 09/19/2008, -1/+16They are both puppets.
- TheSprunk, on 09/19/2008, -2/+17Stood by and let it happen?
Are you serious? - goffy59, on 09/19/2008, -2/+17Mc Cain and Obama are the same, see?
- Pssdoff, on 09/19/2008, -2/+17Because he's not going to do one damn thing to fix it, and his position is the same as McCain's - Status Quo.
- Kelden21, on 09/19/2008, -2/+17That doesn't matter. How can you not see that. He's all for eliminating federal controls over things that weren't explicitly granted in the constitution. The federal government has no right to make decisions over any of those issues. States have that right. Don't fall into the ***** criticism of Ron Paul just because it's convenient.
Rally for the republic. It's not just a slogan, it's a truth. Over the last hundred years the federal government has slowly and steadily tightened it's grip on us. You may agree with their current laws on some issues, but that doesn't give them the right to do it. Each state should be allowed to come to their own conclusion about things that aren't explicitly granted to the feds. Don't like MN's view on abortion? Move to WI. Don't like CA view on marijuana, move to NY. And so on and so forth.
Abortion is a ***** cop out reason for not liking Paul, and you should be ashamed of yourself. Ron Paul can personally believe that everyone named Steve should be sodomized every Wednesday, but the point is, he doesn't implement that, because it's not the federal governments job. Now if he were running for your state's governor, then you have a valid point, until then, stop spouting off the media's *****. - nofate2029, on 09/19/2008, -5/+20I didn't realize Ron Paul standing up for the personal liberties of the American people when most other politicians would rather trample on them, was an act of "terrorism"
- inactive, on 09/19/2008, -0/+14actually, it seems the idea its not to force the chip into people but to make us want it, there are alot of dumb people out there and these (shadowy) goverment guys are very smart at deceiving them (us).
- airwalkery2k, on 09/19/2008, -2/+16If this all happened a year ago... he may have had a chance.
- sanman, on 09/19/2008, -2/+15This is why it's interesting to see some Ron Paul supporters talk about voting for Obama.
With an issue like bailouts, you can see that Ron Paul's and Obama's approaches are exactly the opposite.
Still feel like voting for Obama, Paulies? - Ebacherville, on 09/19/2008, -0/+13little jaded when the Paulites have a "told ya so" moment.. Really I didn't want Ron Paul to be correct... because it means rough times. But he has been correct and sadly, he has more dire long term results if it continues, lets hope he is wrong, but highly I doubt it.

- PeppermintPig, on 09/19/2008, -0/+11Glenn Beck is not a libertarian. He says he has libertarian positions, then says libertarians are crazy out of the other side of his mouth. He's an unprincipled git.
- PeppermintPig, on 09/19/2008, -0/+11Thanks for the illuminating explanation, mediablitz. So when did Bush or Bernanke come on TV and give people the details, the straight dope on what's going on?
- NotYourProdigy, on 09/19/2008, -2/+13I love you Papa Ron. You always give it to me straight.
- PeppermintPig, on 09/19/2008, -0/+11McCain and Obama are both pro-intervention in foreign affairs.
Both are supporters of the Keynesian mythology to the extent that they even talk about it... more often they just talk about regulation and how they want to see more of it. McCain doesn't really have an economic policy since he leaves that to his advisers, but he and Obama would support a strongly socialist nation.
They advocate 'service to the nation', and given the economic downturn, they're likely to nationalize and socialize more services. - DFF777, on 09/19/2008, -2/+13Ron Paul right again...unfortunately.
- PeppermintPig, on 09/19/2008, -0/+10@mediablitz
You assume everyone who isn't a Democrat is somehow duped into believing the GOP establishment line. I don't buy it, and I certainly don't believe a word out of the mouths of any of these Democrats either. Their interest is power, not accountability.
