- tgolferman, on 04/15/2008, -0/+1This whole mess is like a scene out of the movie Silver City. President Bush has announced he will attend the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, but has no solutions for the mess he and his administration have caused. However, he is pressing for the trade agreement with Colombia, hoping to send more jobs south and facilitating easier transport of Columbian narcotics. What's next with this Bozo?
- isaactwito, on 04/15/2008, -0/+1How is this not another sign of recession?
- AlwaysAwake, on 04/15/2008, -0/+2So far, most of the people are sounding like the worst dumb blond joke ever. Hello ?? This is not just recession, we are experiencing a complete economic meltdown; crash; deep depression like this nation has never seen before. Bush is not concerned, because there will be a few winners in this, and guess who's side he's on ? Not ours !! Did any of you ever watch the 4 part BBc documentary series "The Century of the Self" (Google/YouTube free videos) ? If you do, you will see how you and me have volunteered for the process that is now turning us into economic slaves. The revision of the Federal Reserve System now being rammed thru Congress is the last nail in our coffin. The coming war with Iran is just another money-making opportunity for The Friends of Bush/Cheney Club, as Iraq has been.
- testastretta, on 04/15/2008, -0/+1The slow-motion car crash is happening on Channel 2, and most of America is tuned in to Channel 3 watching Oprah, FOX news, and American Idol. Shrub's solution: increase the national debt by giving everyone a one-time tax incentive check. And who is financing that, you ask.
As the retailers go bankrupt, so does the government. Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy ride. - allowners, on 04/16/2008, -0/+1Just a little bit longer and I'm sure we will really start to feel the trickle-down effect from the insane policies of this administration turn into a downpour. Unfortunately it won't be one of those pleasant showers, more like acid rain.
