paywilma.com — This is a very funny, very clever and in today's economy, all too true story of not only IT professionals, but entreprenuers of all kinds. The first page is the clever, funny one. The STORY tab used to be true of just doctors and lawyers at parties, but has spread. It's unfair and too many people take advantage of people like Wilma. Stop it!

  • MrUnloadingzone, on 11/17/2008, -0/+2I didn't post this to solicit donations....It's just something that made me laugh and angry at the same time. You'll see why when you read it. Wilma's situation: being expert at something and being constantly hit upon for "free advice/work" is not only common to IT professionals, Lawyers and Doctors, but investment bankers, Angel Investors, and a whole plethora of skilled, expert people.

    Many Doctors especially stopped going to non-colleague parties a long time ago because of this. Lawyers....well, they're always looking for new clients so not as much.

    But especially in today's economic times, please be sensitive to people's need to relax without giving away their intellectual capital.
