The Dow going down and many of your banks going bankrupt are the logical next steps of the "market regulate itself".
So stop complaining and fasten your seatbelts. Many of you spammed the mails of your repreantatives to stop the bailout, and they (surprisingly though) did what the people wanted. Now the people have to live with the consequences.
I for one am learning chinese, because they own much of your american money. And my country of germany will also go down the drain if your economy collapses.

When others are crying in their rivers saying how bad things are, you're taking advantage of an opportunity despite the risk. It is risk takers like you that change the world and they should be allowed to benefit from the risks they take. I'm there with you! I just deposited another $5000 into my brokerage account earlier today and hope to start bargain shopping once the funds clear.
There's nothing I'd enjoy more than to see the bailout whiners like Jim Cramer and Warren Buffett turn out to be completely wrong about the need for taxpayer supported bailouts to save their portfolios.
