- OhioDemocrat, on 09/23/2008, -1/+175Rep Kapture is another Ohioan who tells it like it is. If only my rep was so tough.
- multilee, on 09/23/2008, -1/+153I LOVE THIS WOMAN!!!!! It so refreshing to hear that not every Rep has sold out.
- BrianJennings, on 09/23/2008, -4/+117Awesome. Common sense response to the ***** games the bush whitehouse has been playing for 8 years. And the democrats have been for falling for it each time. NOT THIS TIME!!
- gsadamb, on 09/23/2008, -4/+103Anyone who thinks this is a partisan issue is wrong. Wall Street doesn't care about red or blue, they care about green. And anyone, in Congress, Republican or Democrat, who capitulates and gives them what they want, is selling out the people.
- cesonnpe, on 09/23/2008, -2/+100Saw this on DailyKOS and had to encourage others to see it! It is a rare thing to hear a politician these days who has the guts to stand up to Big Money and defend the common folk.
I envy those in Ohio who are represented by this wonderful woman! (Especially so, since Virgil Goode is my representative ... Oh the shame, the shame...) - jeffbw, on 09/23/2008, -2/+76Let's play "loot the taxpayers." Any bailout should go to those being foreclosed on, not friggin' wall street.
- revgerry, on 09/23/2008, -2/+75AMAZING! Five thumbs up! Everyone in America (and beyond) needs to hear this video...
- inactive, on 09/23/2008, -2/+72can't digg this twice, wish i could
- 7thguardian, on 09/23/2008, -2/+69When did C-SPAN become so interesting to watch?
- moolcool, on 09/23/2008, -0/+62The media is in a sad state of affairs when C-Span shows more interesting content then the mainstream media. Seriously, why is this clip not on CNN?!
- anika5057, on 09/23/2008, -3/+61This is EXACTLY the Bush game! We're not that stupid anymore! ENOUGH!
- schkura, on 09/23/2008, -0/+56Put this woman next to Sarah Palin for comparative purposes. All of this sexism claptrap would just fade away.
- inactive, on 09/23/2008, -2/+58Wow. Wow.
Just wow.
Way to step up for the people. I didn't know there were too many Congressman left like this. - algaeturd, on 09/23/2008, -0/+49This woman RULES. STAND UP FOR YOUR PEOPLE, reps. She ***** broke it down. Need more like her, please to call out the TRUTH.
- zerton, on 09/23/2008, -0/+46Can we put her in charge of this?
- moethelawn, on 09/23/2008, -1/+41Why isn't she running for president?
- Bittermanscolon, on 09/23/2008, -0/+35She is great in this one too.

- bcclist, on 09/23/2008, -1/+28Why do Ohio-ians seemingly always tell the truth? Reference this representative and kucinich.
- Lucas123, on 09/23/2008, -0/+25How absolutely true. We need to hold our politicians accountable for this!
- Royish, on 09/23/2008, -0/+25This is one of the more important videos I have seen recently.
- stinkymonkey, on 09/23/2008, -3/+27I wish all politicians where like this. To bad we have ***** like McCain/Palin/Bush/Cheney that don't care about anything but themselves....so sad.
- threepm, on 09/23/2008, -0/+23Marcy is our girl! Toledo is where I live and she is representing us well and has been for many years. I hope she runs for Governor.
- BillDBerg, on 09/23/2008, -2/+24Paulson left a 40 MILLION a year job with Sachs to take a 200K a year job with the Gov't
He's either the most altruistic man ever or he figures he can steal enough (700 billion) for him and his former BOSS of Sachs, which of course is one of the banks that owns the Federal Reserve.. which in turn just acquired a trillion dollar AIG for about 8.5 cents on the dollar while the taxpayers get the bill
The great depression history says was CAUSED by the Fed Reserve when it dried up credit. Sound familiar. If you want to make a lot of money, invest in ONLY what you see the Rockefellars, Rothchilds etc. invest in. - NegativeDigg, on 09/23/2008, -0/+21I was thinking more, more, more!!! Everyone in congress you be saying this!!
- Shinobi42, on 09/23/2008, -0/+21I'm moving to Ohio just so I can vote for her.
- Lucas123, on 09/23/2008, -0/+20I just e-mailed my senator, John Kerry. I urge everyone to do the same. Flood Congress' e-mail boxes with questions around this haphazard legislation, which will take responsibility away from the institutions that caused this financial mess and place it on the average taxpayer without any appropriate oversight as to how $700 billion of our money is to be administered.
- AndrewLeon, on 09/23/2008, -0/+19epic
- algaeturd, on 09/23/2008, -1/+20Go get an education and see WHY the economic system needs restructured. You're a lemming...willing to give up anything and everything to the elite fat cats who tell you to bend over for their pleasure and their benefit.
Get a spine and quit believing the ***** or you're just another part of the problem.
You think it boils down to
a.) Yes or
b.) No?
Fool. There ARE solutions to this problem and to suggest that it's an issue of do it or don't do it shows your ineptitude. - californicator, on 09/23/2008, -2/+20Too much honesty... my ears are bleeding!
- Punch405, on 09/23/2008, -0/+17Before that video: Not so hot
After that video: Like the Fist of an Angry God - junkwheel, on 09/23/2008, -0/+16That's the most bluntly I have seen it put so far. Even Ron Paul holds back, probably very sensibly, on some things.
The well heeled wrong dooers know EXACTLY what they are doing. They're not idiots, they're not stupid, they are just lying criminals of the first order.
I read a headline which said "George Bush admits he didn't realise the extent of the problem"
Does anybody, ANYBODY, take a headline like that and take it literally? Goerge Bush has NOTHING to do with the proposed bailout plan. He didn't put it together, he has no control over whether or not it's put out AT ALL, or what the hell will happen with it. He's a speaker when it comes to this. Nothing more.
This is the game of the BIG players. If the economy comes to this stage it's because they wanted it to. Period. They know what happens if they hold the interest rate super low for ages and let everyone do whatever the hell they want. All the biggest cats make money, the stock market crashes, the mergers happen, the biggest cats get bigger, have more power, have more money, and have more influence.
Cut through all the bollocks, all the terminology, and the bubble-crap, and just look at the flow of money. There is your answer. FROM the tax payers, TO the corporations. Look at the flow of power after mergers. FROM smaller compaines TO fewer big ones.
JP Morgan is so good at it they renamed the term to 'morganisation' a long time ago.
It's one big club, and you're not a part of it. - George Carlin
How long until the Amero? - ElectricKetchup, on 09/23/2008, -0/+16Because we need good people in Congress too
- StaticThunder, on 09/23/2008, -1/+17Why is this an either/or? Don't bail ANYONE out. The way this gets fixed is when actual wealth gets created to fill in the enormous debt hole created by bad paper. Foreclose on the insolvent wall street companies, and sell off their assets. Same with the sub-prime foreclosures. Any difference becomes the responsibility of the owners, ie/, shareholders, put them to work rebuilding bridges and roads and manufacturing solar panels, and they can spend the rest of their lives working it off as a reminder to the next wave of Enron / Bear-Sterns / Home Flippers.
If they reap all the benefits, its only right they should suffer the consequences.
Keep the taxpayers out of it.
Do you think China is going to do any different when they sell their bonds and Uncle Sam says he's insolvent? Because thats what the bailout is, an additional ***** of debt to foreign creditors. - 01001001, on 09/23/2008, -1/+16AMER-RICAAAAA....***** YEAH!!!!!!
- vbullinger, on 09/23/2008, -0/+15Kaptur is one of the best representatives in Congress!
And I'm a Republican. - grapesofbaath, on 09/23/2008, -2/+17Brilliant! I didn't know we had those kind of politicans in Ohio.
- SkillzThatKillz, on 09/23/2008, -2/+16you couldn't watch it for more than 30 seconds because you're a moron
- JCH897, on 09/23/2008, -4/+18Wow she's hot.
- h3llscaper, on 09/23/2008, -0/+14So...you're telling me there's women like this in office and Sarah Palin gets the VP pick?
-_- - Versh, on 09/23/2008, -0/+14Rep. Marcy Kaptur, (13th term in congress!), I agree on all points-- makes me wish all representative-government had a 1 to 1 ratio of rational accordance.
- munkianis, on 09/23/2008, -0/+13oh boy i wish i could dig a million times.
- Greenrascal, on 09/23/2008, -1/+14I think im in love
