The description said this site tells me the cheapest price in my area, and it has failed to do so.

The Provincial Gov't introduced gas price regulation on July first, so in Halifax for example, all gas is 1.14 per liter, no matter where you go. It gets adjusted to market prices every two weeks, with suppliers allowed to add to it for the amount of distance that fuel has to be transported.
So... that leads me to ask... why is the gas 1cent more at the Irving station across the street from the refinery, than a station 300 km away? - mattb5, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Who are all these jerks griping about this site? that's what I use because it separates by zip code. no "driving out of my way" and it also gives highest and lowest prices for the nation. good stuff.
