- AbortedFetus, on 10/12/2007, -6/+16Didn't read the article, but I don't think work is as much of a cause of stress as money. I mean really, we only work because we need money; if we didn't need money, we wouldn't need to work, therefore, I see money as the root of the stress, not the work itself.

- HsoKinees, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'd like to note that I partially agree with what meepus said, the Digg system is a tad bit flawed, you can digg the article and even comment about the linked article/images without evening clicking on the link..
- JEmerson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Is it? A lot of the high stress cubicle jobs are moving overseas, and doing well. While the creative ideas, not papercut with tps reports, seem to be what the US is still good at.
As for the article, mismanagement is the main cause for stress in the places I've worked. And they're certainly not going to be the ones reading something like this and suddenly jumping into action. The best way to manage workplacess stress? Save money, quit, start your own small buisness or use your new time to search for a job with better management. Of course that makes assumptions about a person's state, such as family and whatnot. But, for the most part, I'd say the best way to deal with job stress is to just get a new job. Even if the stressful one pays more, what's the worth on the years stress induced damage to your body will chop off, and the lack of enjoyment of your offtime caused by worries of work? - meepus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Dude, let's go bowling.

- loki440, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3That article sucked! Is this the kind of ***** that makes BusinessWeek?
- meepus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I think this article is more fun AND informative on a practical level than the actual digg article we're dealing with:

If that makes me uptight, then I hope to be uptight for LIFE.
Also, I was mocking Digg. If you took what I had to say literally, you're ridiculous.

Meepus, what did that little rant even have to do with the article? I think Digg gives you more stress than work. Maybe you should try Hamster dance? Its less stressful for some people. - sockpuppets, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Creepy. It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again?
- meepus, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4My entire "dudes, focus on the articles instead of yourselves" rant got you guys to focus on me? This SO backfired. Also, I am completely blown away by the sheer depth of thought that went into that stunning analysis of my handle. Bravo.

- sockpuppets, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6I digg you down, meepus. You just sound like an uptight dick.

So you wanna get dug up or down?
make up your mind dude we don't have all day here.
Regards. - meepus, on 10/12/2007, -19/+11Stop trying to make this all about you, read the goddamn article, THEN comment on it. The biggest flaw in Digg submissions, AND in Digg comments is that posters feel the need to personalize the work of others (to the point that they submit linked summaries from their own blogs, which are just summaries linked to other blogs, etc.).
Need proof? This comment was just me shoving my opinion about you and Digg in your face.
The fun part is whether you decide to digg me up, or down. I say you should digg me down. Does that mean you'll digg me up? Wait, did me patronizing you there mean you'll ACTUALLY digg me down? But wait, you're too intelligent to be PREDICTED, now aren't you? So digg me up, you know you want to. Besides, what I had to say was at least slightly insightful. No it wasn't! *****!
Also, this article sucked. No digg.

What is Digg?
