- davidhallstrom, on 07/12/2008, -7/+77Good one.
- 2h3px, on 07/12/2008, -0/+67I miss the Dilbert animated series
- FasmTrout, on 07/12/2008, -1/+60I'm glad Dilbert has kept its dry humour all these years, just the way I like it. And insightful too!
- WantToPlay, on 07/12/2008, -6/+40so true
- snareguy17, on 07/12/2008, -5/+37I'm proud to say I'm one of the people who has time in my office, and not talent.
- lickmyback, on 07/12/2008, -0/+27Some guy got fired for posting that...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dilbert#.22Drunken_Le ... - xenuxenuts, on 07/12/2008, -2/+29It's only funny if you don't have time.
- JCPahl, on 07/12/2008, -3/+28You mean that most of the time it's over your head.
- inactive, on 07/12/2008, -4/+28brilliance. Scott Adams is amazing
- Bayman, on 07/12/2008, -1/+18In that case, we need more talented people in the White House...
- inactive, on 07/12/2008, -6/+22What a great way to end my day of digg, with a good laugh.
- AdmiralAcbar, on 07/12/2008, -3/+19Quit bitching about xkcd every time a comic of some kind is posted. We get that you don't like xkcd. Now shut up about it, because it doesn't relate to this.
- Nat3r, on 07/12/2008, -0/+11they have a ***** flash interface now
- swern425, on 07/12/2008, -0/+11http://digg.com/comedy/Guy_fired_for_posting_Dilbe ...
The page that linked to went down, the comments on it are interesting though.
Here's an article on the background before the whole affair was mentioned in the strip itself:
http://www.desmoinesregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art ... - reddikilowatt, on 07/12/2008, -0/+9The problem isn't the first generation of a company. It only comes later, when the big growth and Wall St. demands a "management team," AKA adult supervision to take over and turn it into a "real business."
If the founders are smart, they get out early (WOZ). If they aren't, they get frustrated and quit (Bob Metcalfe). If they are good, they push back (Jobs, Gates {in the 1990s}). If they are stupid, they overstay their welcome (Mitch Kapor). - aadsfasdf, on 07/12/2008, -0/+8Wow, knocked that one out of the park WallnutBoy.
- BedPost, on 07/12/2008, -0/+8Dilbert is one of those comics where you love it, but not because its hilarious - because its so truthful, that it sometimes hurts... in a good way.
- Farmer77, on 07/12/2008, -6/+14Dilbert > xkdc
- rpieszak, on 07/12/2008, -0/+7I'm proud to say I hate you. :)
- specialK16, on 07/12/2008, -0/+6Holy ***** what is this amazing site?
- WallnutBoy, on 07/12/2008, -0/+6Done.
- xNIBx, on 07/12/2008, -1/+7It only takes some money and desire to risk. Drunk people are afraid of nothing. Talent and time arent really requirements.
- specialK16, on 07/12/2008, -0/+5What a not so great way to start my day Digg, with the truth.
- tian2992, on 07/12/2008, -0/+5http://dilbert.com/fast
enjoy - qpid, on 07/12/2008, -1/+6hulu.com :)
- thebrinkman, on 07/12/2008, -0/+4This should have been titled simply "Reality"
- springboks, on 07/12/2008, -1/+5Very much so, one of the remaining comic writers/artists that's decent. Unlike that Jim Davis (Garfield) fellow.
- Nauru, on 07/12/2008, -1/+5What's so wrong with drunken lemurs?
- ufee, on 07/12/2008, -1/+5Is Dilbert somehow *****?
- FadieZ, on 07/12/2008, -1/+5xkcd > xkdc
- WallnutBoy, on 07/12/2008, -0/+3As was intended.
- bagboyrebel, on 07/12/2008, -2/+5finally, someone who states their OPINION!
- dsmx, on 07/12/2008, -0/+3The only people you ever get in the white house are the people who have the time to campaign to get into the white house all the talented people are fixing the problems the white house creates.
- jeffiek, on 07/12/2008, -0/+3You can always tell how high up a decision was made by how ridiculous it is.
- theshizzler, on 07/12/2008, -0/+3Your day of digg ends?
- GiJoeBob, on 07/12/2008, -0/+2Why is it we never have the time to do it right but we have the time to do it over?
- redslash, on 07/12/2008, -0/+2The more I see of the world, the truer this gets for me.
- fuzzybeard, on 07/13/2008, -0/+2Can you get me a quote for multiton quantities of Unobtanium? I've got a sudden urge to build a manned drilling rig to go to the planet's core. With Hillary Swank.
- jisrael, on 07/12/2008, -0/+2also there are animated dilbert shorts on itunes in the podcast section. they're not great, but there is a new one every day...
- M724, on 07/12/2008, -0/+2Alright, I think I just had the fog removed off of my eyes. This explains a lot.
- baudbwoy, on 07/12/2008, -0/+2my life explain in cartoon
- reddikilowatt, on 07/12/2008, -0/+2Sounds like a good management decision.
If I were him, I'd put that comic on my resume' under the reason for leaving that job. Any place that can't see the humor in that isn't a good place to work for people who read Dilbert, and he shouldn't work there.
But I know plenty of uptight ***** who will thrive in those places. - xptoast, on 07/12/2008, -0/+2He wrote a really good book too. Something about God dust. He takes evolution and rips it a new hole in that book. Quite funny stuff actually.
- VINLANDER, on 07/12/2008, -0/+2Garbage man's a talented folk.
- trevorh, on 07/12/2008, -0/+2I suggest getting a president who doesn't have the time to take a record number of vacation days.
- ZachE84, on 07/12/2008, -0/+2haha - nice. The real funny thing is 80% of the people reading this post are the problems. Damn idiots!
- bipolarruledout, on 07/12/2008, -0/+1You assume we the time to do it over.
- bipolarruledout, on 07/12/2008, -0/+1It's hard to become successfull when the inferior are constantly trying to stab you in the back to protect their own inferiority.... at least when you work for someone else.
