Chinese Automakers May Buy GM and Chrysler

thetruthaboutcars.com — Chinese carmakers SAIC and Dongfeng have plans to acquire GM and Chrysler, China’s 21st Century Business Herald reports today. A take-over of a large overseas auto maker would fit perfectly into China’s plans. As reported before, China has realized that its export chances are slim without unfettered access to foreign technology.

    China's going to own more of the US than every american put together, before long....

    I wonder how long until they send in the baliffs for a repossession?!

It's bad enough we already owe them trillions of dollars and wealthy investors from HongKong are buying property in the U.S. freely. It's time to change that.
  • korvan504521, on 11/18/2008, -1/+6You know, a lot of other foreign countries restrict what non-citizens can own in their countries. They do this for a lot of reasons, most of them good.

    We on the other hand, apparently know better. Why don't we sell off some monuments to china while we're at it too. Think they'd be down with buying yellowstone? We could spend the money on blackjack and hookers.
