- dualityim, on 01/26/2008, -0/+2Did you know Microsoft and Intel are Dow components? Did you know they are tech companies? Do you know how long they have existed?
- suprememilo, on 01/26/2008, -0/+2:( i wish google was still at $638
- centran, on 01/26/2008, -1/+3Microsoft will always fight piracy but they know that when it comes down to the bottom line corporations are where it gets it's money from.
That is why Red Hat is on there. Corporations. They want the licenses. They want the support. They pay the money. Red Hat was quick to learn this. - dualityim, on 01/26/2008, -0/+1Google is an online advertising company. That's pretty much it. In their quarterly reports advertising is pretty much their only source of revenue.
EPS by itself doesn't mean anything. You need to take the share price into account. - Vanburene, on 07/17/2008, -0/+0Genentech Settles Dispute Related To Cabilly Patent

- toddc612, on 01/27/2008, -0/+0Yay! I happen to work at #12, Digital River.. been there for over a year and loving it. Unfortunately I don't think the stock has been doing well as of late.
- Moses27, on 02/06/2008, -0/+0Its never to late to invest, might have to wait alittle for the stocks to drop alittle if you want to get a better deal, but, it will eventually work out, talked to a couple people on the http://bullspot.com forums, gave me some decent advice.
- lazworld, on 01/31/2008, -0/+0Hey cool, my company made the list
- JoeFoel, on 01/26/2008, -0/+0It is funny that L3 had commercial stressing on reliability where I know they had huge internet blackouts in the past.
- Luthorcorp331, on 01/26/2008, -2/+1Tech sucks as a sector. You can pick one of those companies up there and a new start-up will arrive with the hottest new fad. The older company is taken by surprise and goes down.
Too risky stay with blue chip like Pepsico, Kraft or by ETF's in defense, healthcare etc.
NASDAQ=FAD=HIGH RISK - finanigan, on 01/26/2008, -1/+0Don't take investment advice from Digg comments. That said, if you're young, you almost can't go wrong just putting some money in a tracker fund and letting it grow for 40 years. ;')
