- wphj, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Eh, but how many people will actually be employed this way?
- HaltingPoint, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5And that's the reason this whole article is worthless. First of all, several of those don't make much money at all, even for the top people.
For the rest, like the web video stars...your shot of making it big is about as big as your shot of becoming a celebrity. Sure you have a bigger audience, but you have practically zero promotional strength, and there's too much crap out there that drowns out your voice.
So like many other professions, a few will make a lot of money and the rest will squander their time. So don't quit your day job any time soon. If you want to make a little scratch on the side, PayPerPost and similar services do pay fairly well for the time investment but there are artificial limits set to prevent you from making too much through them (post limit per day, etc.)
Honestly I feel like the best bet these days is to go the niche AdSense blog route which is horrible because its essentially blog spam. But there does seem to be a lot of money in there because of how automated it is and how it can accumulate. - micropizzle, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Just in: 10 new jobs of the Web 3.0 Generation!!!!!
Don't joke, that will be an article in a matter of months. - deanburge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21. New Media Producer

Most of these "suggestions" follow the faulty premise killing thousands of Web 2.0 entrepreneur wannabees -- if you build it, they will come. Sorry, folks, just because you think you built something really cool it doesn't mean the webbies will be flocking to your doorstep. Entrepreneurship is more than having a good idea, it's also being able to execute on it. - ray901, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1sounds like a bunch of crap to me.
Like those 'careers' that are offered in late night tv adverts - become a veterinary assistant or a computer repair technician.... - stonethrown, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Where can i get some edjumication on a "clothing label crafter", I mean if that doesn't sound exilerating I dont know what does.

- libelvox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's never any claim that it will make anybody rich - or even that these are self-sustaining careers; rather, it says that these are things people can try that require very little in order to practice business skills.
- CChris89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I started selling Xango part time and it is a job that can make anyone money
