- Bukowsky, on 05/03/2008, -1/+25You can see the video of this incident here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bbcp40CEfzg (Not a Rick Roll)
- atbnet, on 05/03/2008, -1/+18And the Wizards just got booted from the playoffs by LeBron and company AGAIN.
- GoKings, on 05/03/2008, -0/+15Christ it's apparent most of you haven't been following this series. The Wizards have done a lot of trash talking, committed flagrant fouls, gotten into altercations on the court, etc. Had this been another series they wouldn't have suspended Darius, nor would they have suspended him without background. He was suspended because of the history of the two teams, and the Wizards openly admitting that they were going to rough up LeBron...
- StevieJanowski, on 04/02/2009, -3/+18Songaila Can't Play With LeBron Says LeBrons Mommy (The NBA)
- dodgejon, on 05/03/2008, -0/+9Why are you using a Detroit Player as your icon???
- oxinthebox, on 05/03/2008, -0/+9Enough with the NBA wanting LeBron to go to the finals. He got T-ed up at the end of the first half for questioning a call so I guess the refs aren't on board with that plan.
If Washington practiced as hard as they ran their mouths they might still be playing. - jerrolds, on 05/03/2008, -6/+14What? Thats hardly a technical let alone a suspension...Bruce Bowen should be suspended from the league forever if this counts as a hard foul..
- Mikkel04, on 05/03/2008, -1/+9The Cavs just beat the Wizards in game 6, and very soundly... Songalia, a backup for Brendan Haywood, would not have made the difference. The Wizards can take the strategy of name calling, but the Cavs took the strategy of winning. Cleveland goes on, Washington goes home. Everyone forgets about a stupid first round playoff rivalry. That's what matters.
- commenter01, on 05/03/2008, -0/+8now everything needs the (not a rick roll) tag.
- theblueprint, on 05/03/2008, -5/+12Washington is resorting to ***** "beat-em-up" tactics in an attempt to make up for the fact that the Cavaliers are a superior team.
If the Wiz had got to the playoffs playing a physical style, I wouldn't think much of it, but this is just one of at least ten incredibly flagrant fouls. This is akin to going for a player's knees in football. - kingvik, on 05/03/2008, -0/+6Since when is Songila black?
- active1x0, on 05/03/2008, -0/+6I'm on it.
Whoops buried you both. - idastheman, on 05/03/2008, -1/+6LOL LeBron got a taste of Songaila's pimp hand.
- carabou, on 05/03/2008, -0/+5GOOOOOOOOOOOO CAVS!
- nyx210, on 05/03/2008, -0/+5Of course not. Do you *really* think racists are smart?
- GoKings, on 05/03/2008, -0/+5Yup... I'm sure the NBA knew removing a scrub like Songaila would surely be the reason that the Cavs make it to the second round.
- sovereign3, on 05/03/2008, -1/+5Do people making the completely racist comments even realize that Darius Songalia is Caucasian?
- Ourcellardoor, on 05/03/2008, -0/+4You're right, this foul was the difference-maker in deciding that.
/sarcasm - IDIGTHEDIGG, on 05/03/2008, -2/+5Kidd dosen't get suspended or KG but they suspend this guy....
- sealhands, on 05/03/2008, -0/+3no
- dksupremacy, on 05/03/2008, -1/+4How is it Lebron's fault Songalia got ejected? I don't see anywhere Lebron complaining or crying. You Must be a depressed Wizard fan
- Dgen_X, on 05/03/2008, -0/+3The reason Okur wasn't suspended is because the guy he slapped isn't a national celebrity
- Ourcellardoor, on 05/03/2008, -0/+3Hey tcpip4lyfe, you're a pussy.
- sovereign3, on 05/03/2008, -1/+4The Wizards were playing pretty aggressive basketball, but Songalia's foul was hardly flagrant. Basketball, after all, is a contact sport and LeBron has this tendency to flop like a soccer player whenever he makes contact.
- uncommonwords, on 05/03/2008, -2/+5It was a love tap.
- TheAkolyte, on 05/03/2008, -0/+2When you're semi racist?
- satanatnmtedu, on 05/03/2008, -0/+2It probably wouldn't have been an issue except for the fact that the Wizards have been ***** for the whole series.
- arial, on 05/03/2008, -2/+4Why wasn't Okur suspended for this? And a little baby slapped get this guy canned for a game
http://www.dailymotion.com/us/video/x54nze_utah-ja ... - Rockmaninoff, on 05/03/2008, -0/+2That is most definitely NOT a shot to the head.
- knowmeaswiii, on 05/03/2008, -1/+3i call cavs vs hawks in round 2
- shawnanigans, on 05/03/2008, -0/+2I don't watch much basketball the only sport I really watch is hockey where every whistle leads to a scrum in front of the net and at least 2 punches to the face in the playoffs. Is this really a suspendable foul or just an abberation?
- Dgen_X, on 05/03/2008, -1/+2yeah, until I saw video of the "smack"....which didn't really look like it connected (from the angles shown in the replay)
lebron sure did a good job of snapping his head back though - dbXXd, on 05/03/2008, -2/+3Aw, the pussy got slapped in the face. Maybe the millionaire fairy will come and make boo-boo better.... here's a cookie. Crybaby jocks....
- threemagic, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1when you are retarded
- nyx210, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1idiot.
- karolisonline, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1Songaila is from Europe, and don't get me wrong but NBA is all about show. In every game both teams score more than 100 points and everything is about how good does it look. But in European basketball everything is about sport, who is better. Europeans don't do such a big business industry from basketball as Americans (we have football). So if You would like to play the game (like Songaila did) where the best wins and everything is about sport and some big daddy from NBA says that You can't do this, because LeBron increases NBA rankings and daddy earns a lot of money from it, so You can't play tough game against him. Wouldn't You like to punch that little girl whose name is LeBron?
- threemagic, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1Antonio McDyess!
- Jerky1312, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1That's not suspension worthy. The heated nature of this series is why he got suspended. If you watch the play, they were tangled up and Lebron was pulling at Songalia's arm and Songalia let him have it. It was more "instinctual" reaction, because there was no reason for him to try and him. Also, look at the motion of his arm, its going backwards and it has no real force behind it. If he was trying to hit Lebron hard, he would have done so with more effort. Flagrant 1 is fine, but suspension is silly.
- dksupremacy, on 05/03/2008, -1/+2Oops, ment to digg you up, someone digg him up for me
- Ne007, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1To all you crybaby Wizards fans: THANKS FOR BEING STUPID! Thanks for getting a superstar riled up!
We beat you ONCE AGAIN and now you can go home like the losers and whiners and retards that you are. But thanks for helping us win.... - thethinktank, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1There's nothing quite like seeing Antonio McDyess on the home page of Digg. Pistons in 6. That's the answer to every question the NBA should have about the remaining playoff series. Pistons in 6, Pistons in 6, Pistons in 6.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foqOtlrPCN4 - iLemon, on 05/03/2008, -1/+2I think he deserved the suspension because this happened well after the play ended and its his face. Thats the type of stuff that starts fights.
