- mrichard, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yeah man, your right... baseball hey... pffft... who cares for that!!
hey, just for fun, who is batting before Chris Webber? I think it's that Jagr guy... not sure... anyboby? - javip, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3inaccurate, he hasn't asked for a trade
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2665203 - stockjones, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Webber gave some great play in the early Rick Adelman days with the Kings, but he slowly lingered. One the most brilliant trades pulled off by by Jeff Petrie was getting the ego and contract off his shoulders and getting the 76ers to bite.
And with all the bad said about Ron Artest, hes been a great addition to the new uber defense Kings team of today. - Avogadro65, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Meanwhile, Webber denies requesting a trade:
http://cbs.sportsline.com/nba/story/9811448/rss - geronimo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Webber's knee injury sealed his fate unfortunately. And yes, being on the other side of a Petri trade usually means you lose, as the 76ers found out. The injury he had usually changes careers for the worst unfortunately.
- RamanujanRedux, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Look at the contract, look at his record. Enjoy him, Philly fans, almost no one would trade for him.
- riceguitar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Webber was good in the past.... key word, "PAST."
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The sixers need another big body to clog up the lane and a defensive specialist... Iverson, Iguodala, and Korver pretty much have the offense run through them; Webber's just plain out of place.
- rideroyals, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4Chris webber isnt good anymore hes just mad cause allen iverson takes all his spotlight.
AI >>>>>>Webber - dqian, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0He can earn $20 millions next year. Why does club want to sign a long term contract that the salary increases with decresing skills ?
- livestradamus, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3CWebb to NYK would be horrible move IMO for NYK.
He's the biggest friggin cry baby ever.
BTW: I became a NJN fan when JKidd joined them a few years back. You need players like Kidd as the foundation for a contender. The Marburys, Webbers, Steve Francis's do not make you contenders but may bring you some exciting plays in the year.
Anyhow, I read CWebb denied requesting a trade but only said he is frustrated (as he gets with every team he becomes a part of- no surprise there) - merdiesel, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1@livestradamus
Your an idiot... Webber turned the Sacramento Kings franchise around and quickly turned them into a contender, if it wasn't for injuries and one of the worst ref'd games (Game 6) in NBA history he would have a championship ring on his finger. Know something about basketball before you open your mouth. - zomgflamer, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Why is he asking for trade when The Answer and Ideguala guy are doing great. I wanna see the Lakers beat Phili in finals again.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -24/+0rofl ppl still care about baseball?? plz get with the 2000s an dplay some cs
