Agreed. Duke was way overrated just cause they're Duke. On the other hand, because they're Duke and because they were overrated it's nice to see them go down. However, people that think VCU will advance beyond the next round have to be kidding themselves. I thought their gameplay was incredibly sloppy, and although they CAN hit the three, I just don't think they'll be able to match up well in the next round. Great win, but I think it ends here.
- Scyth3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Maynor was amazing for VCU this season. I'm also happy Duke lost, just because I believe they're the most over-rated team, ever. Being that I'm a George Mason student, and losing to VCU -- I'm surprisingly happy that they're living up to their CAA tournament win. The irony in all of it was that both the Mason and Duke game came to the last minute. In both games it was Maynor that made the winning plays, and without him the team would have never made it this far (and lost both of those games). With that said -- keep it up VCU. I just don't think they'll get past the second round (hope I'm wrong).

Since I am an adult and not a small child, sympathy is what you will get. Those that laugh have yet to make it to their mid teens in maturity.

- 1021, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Great to see the no-name league (CAA) two years ago become more prominent in the NCAA. With that said, I watched the Duke game on my tivo and would like to add that there is no way VCU can get past the next round if they played similar to the Duke game. George Mason U last year was overall seemed like a solid team with good inside presence and some great outside shooters. All I see in this VCU team is one kid saving the whole team at the end of a game, that is not going to work against a good team which can build up a big lead and hold it, which Duke has been incapable of doing the entire season.
