- bitt3n, on 10/12/2007, -2/+30"but it's in the olympics. it don't count if you dunk over a european."
- rmiguens, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14There is an unwritten rule that if you get dunked on than it's not an offensive foul.
- gameboyhippo, on 10/12/2007, -6/+12I thought it said "Top 10 NBA Drunks".
- elmro, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Patrick Ewing has gotten served, repeatedly.
- TylerDurden0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Don't forget Jumbo Motumbo's finger wag after a big rejection. Jordan jammed it with authority over that totem pole and gave him the finger wag as he jostled down the court backward.
Sweet moment - NTolerance, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5That Tom Chambers gorilla dunk is classic.
- griz, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6Isn't that just a function of YouTube, that is shows other items with a similar style or keyword?
- yonas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2god....i can't get over vince carter putting his nuts on that guy's head for the number one spot! ha!
- theblooms, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5The KJ vs. Olajuawon was #1 in my book. I watched that game live, and my jaw hit the carpet, and I jumped up in the air like a money with my friends after that one. It was INSANE. KJ, all 6'1" of him, dunking over 7'+ Dream. The piss-poor quality of this video just dosn't do it justice.
Buy, just like the dude said in the commentary, turn that one into a poster. - Lynx34, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Im pretty sure Jordan taking off from the free-throw line should have been in there somewhere.
- jonecat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I would agree that this is the best dunk, I don't care if The Dream was only 6'11", KJ was only 6'1", that dunk is sick.
- Grimdotdotdot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1He smacked his head with his balls...
- bioskope, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1no digg . This really isnt worthy at all. Just like that worst ref calls one
- SyDIGG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Clyde Drexler took off from the free throw line and dunk in a game against the Lakers once.
- Daveecee, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6I think I had moreso HOPED it was "Top 10 NBA Drunks" than merely read it as.
- tryferos, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Gotta agree on the #1, Vince pwned that guy big time.
- Osjpr, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5"Did you notice with the Shawn Kemp dunk, he took like 5 steps?"
No, he took 2 after putting the ball on the floor. 100% legal - TylerDurden0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I am still pissed they traded Horny for Barks rather than KJ. Never cared for the pussy. ...ok, it was still a saucy dunk.
- skaughtm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2this wasn't the top 10 NBA dunks, it was the top 10 in-game dunks. the poster labeled it incorrectly.
- TylerDurden0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You don't know *****, it was an awesome dunk but the doctor has something for him. That windmill jam is the best I have ever seen. Pretty sweet hoping over a dude, but what was he Croatian? Big deal!
- earthtoandy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2That was definitely the best/most memorable. I remember watching that on TV when it happened. Everyone just erupted at the site. And KJs reaction was awesome
- sonofa, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I was in attendance of two of those; Shaq & KJ.
- Mace37, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I'm glad that it was only ingame dunks. Even then, some of those were better than most competitions. I think the only difference would be a dunk from Carter and Jordan.
- MK47, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Nice!! I would make a different list, but those or awesome.
- TylerDurden0, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Is that why we've been collecting so many gold medals in the last several Olympics? Try some team play rather than highlight creation. Just ask the original Dream Team. Did you catch the last word of that sentence?
- mostapha, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3#1 was absolutely incredible.
Who was the guy that Vince Carter jumped over? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Good dunks, bad ordering.
- kudos, on 10/12/2007, -12/+12Don't forget to submit the other top 10 things returned in your search. Which you forgot to remove from the url.
- shawngoat23, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Great dunk, but the Dream wasn't taller than 7'. He was listed as 7'0" but has admitted that he is actually a shade (1/8"?) below 7'.
Still, this was a DPOY and the best center of the day. - matlock, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Shawn Bradley is involved in about 90% of the greatest NBA dunk highlights. They need to put out a DVD of his greatest posterized moments. Michael Finley flushing on him comes to mind.
- ZigZags, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Wow and to think this was all possible before NBA Jam changed the sports world as we know it with a little thing called turbo.
- warox, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Jordan didn't do that in a game but in the dunk contest, and he wasn't the first nor the last to do that either. Remarkable because it's tough as hell, but not really unique.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1#2 was just beautiful. Simply beautiful.
- LordStandley, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Carter's dunk is just plain awesome, hands down.
That dude was pissed too. - canewediggit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i posted this the last time this clip was dugg, but since you brought up bradley.....
http://youtube.com/watch?v=0hKrz7jj-2o&search=mcgrady%20dunk%20dallas
i replace ricky davis on this list w/ mcgrady just completely disrespecting the 7' 6"er. added bonus- kevin harlan with a great call. - jamelt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1that guy is going to be stuck on that poster forever
- canewediggit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0you're out of your mind. doing a beautiful windmill while basically uncontested is one thing. teabagging a french (added bonus!) 7 footer is a whole other level.
- Lemon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Those are great dunks.
But they're not top 10 dunks of all time... - Reidtheweed01, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3No dumbass, their wasnt an offesnsive foul, he never hit him. HE ***** JUMPED OVER HIM. You dont know the rules do you.
- Eric21, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1i wouldnt give VCs dunk number one but good list
- jakerz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1LOL at Europeans don't count...which is pretty much true for everything.
- expertblogger, on 03/01/2008, -0/+0Wow and to think this was all possible before NBA Jam changed the sports world as we know it with a little thing called turbo. American's own the world when it comes to basketball...
LeBron and Wade alone are going to destroy everyone. http://arskor.info - j00fek, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2great list!
- Reidtheweed01, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Yeah, and what these stupid ass NBA teams cant figure out about these european centers is that they suck. Yep, the french pussy was picked by none other then the New York Knicks in the 99 draft, first round too. When are they going to learn, just because they are tall, dosnt make them good.
Go back and look at last years draft, and see how many europeans were picked, and look at their names, you wouldnt have heard of any of them. The only ones that you will ever hear of are the ones who played college basketball in the united states. - jer2eydevil88, on 10/12/2007, -7/+6Hey be nice to the people in the sports sections, you have to remember this isn't a Tech news site anymore.
- theblooms, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4There is an unwritten rule that if you dunk, there is no such thing as traveling. Did you notice with the Shawn Kemp dunk, he took like 5 steps?
- merdiesel, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1"Cause you can do anything against those guys."
"Yeah, anything except win..."
are you kidding me?
American's own the world when it comes to basketball...
LeBron and Wade alone are going to destroy everyone. - trypeewee, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1boy do i love this game! absolutely amazing! very nice video ;)
- ileadyouth, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Great list. Shaq had a few other broken backboards, but that one was the best.
Jordan taking on the knicks - my favorite, hands down.
Thats a good list.
And yes, as others have said - Patrick Ewing seems to be in every video - but never the dunkER. ha. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Good dunks, but #1 wasn't NBA :P
Ewing does get served a lot. -
