- bigthree, on 07/08/2009, -0/+17Ah the Knicks are crying right now
- ennuisquared, on 07/08/2009, -0/+8Well I guess they'll have to settle for a smaller Gulfstream III.
- rwbrinso, on 07/08/2009, -1/+9It won't be that big a deal IIRC, as there are a very large number of potential RFAs and opt-outs available, which should dilute the average FA $ across the board.
- Gerakis100, on 07/08/2009, -0/+6Come February, we're going to see crazy crazy trades with Lebron/Wade entering free agency. I can't wait to see what will be the worst one.
- Coreyc150, on 07/09/2009, -0/+6supply and demand... basic economics
- ocharry, on 07/08/2009, -0/+5There are already huge trades and massive signings this past month. This season is gonna be great to watch.
- smacksaw, on 07/09/2009, -2/+6The NBA is like the housing market - overly inflated. I don't know why tickets to a game have to cost that much. I don't know why the NBA League Pass has to cost that much, either.
I used to be a huge NBA fan, but now I just watch highlights and whatever the local games being broadcast happen to be. I hope they lower salaries. I hope all of the costs go way down. The NBA is profiteering right now at the cost of the future. It's too inaccessible and there won't be fans to pay through the nose in the future since we got used to doing other things with our time and money. - PxCxG, on 07/08/2009, -0/+3Hangers-on and groupies nationwide begin weeping and gnashing their teeth...
- collution, on 07/09/2009, -1/+4Who cares, the NBA is a business, they exist to make money on entertainment.
The tickets prices will come down when the consumers don't buy. Being that going to watch an NBA game is not a necessity by any means, I don't get why you're whining. The organization doesn't exist to give you fair prices because you think they cost too much, it exists to make a buck. - Wolfgarden, on 07/09/2009, -0/+2Oh No!
- Wolfcaster, on 07/09/2009, -0/+2I'm not saying you are one of these people, but I can't stand it when people say this and they watch sports. I mean, the only reason athletes get paid a lot is because a lot of people care. If no one cared they wouldn't get paid. It's pretty obvious but still, people just don't seem to get it. So to all you out there that wish athletes were paid less, stop watching them or shut up. Or become politically active and try to push for socialism.
- VinceMancini, on 07/09/2009, -0/+2That's funny, I turned my salary cap backward and rocked out to Limp Bizkit.
- MMPunter, on 07/09/2009, -0/+2More like SALARY CRAP. High five?

- VinceMancini, on 07/09/2009, -0/+1That will happen as soon as being a teacher requires you to be a 6 foot 7 black guy with a 40 inch vertical.
- mavmavv, on 07/09/2009, -0/+1Yet they all seem to end up broke in the end...
- kzam, on 07/14/2009, -0/+1go to hell
- kzam, on 07/14/2009, -0/+1lol..i think smacksaw wants the nba to just give him tickets.
What an idiot, for making such stupid comments. The reason why things cost so much is because there is a high demand for them. - Poopman23, on 07/10/2009, -0/+0So the Knicks will only have 39 million to spend on free agents in 2010, that sucks.
http://hoopshype.com/salaries/new_york.htm - JordanTW90, on 07/09/2009, -6/+5The NBA still exists?
- baysidecomedy, on 07/09/2009, -5/+3Teachers, Doctors, Firemen, Police Officers should be payed more than athletes imo
