- anklesnap, on 02/08/2009, -2/+18'The Stache' in LA huh? I wonder how long before they are selling fake mustaches to everyone in the Staples Center?
- vsujohn2, on 02/08/2009, -2/+17Does he really want to go back to L.A?
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y51/kellienger/cr ... - Jericho6, on 02/08/2009, -1/+14I suppose if Morrison could succeed, it would be on a team like L.A., where he could thrive as a secondary option. But the lack of defense is just way troublesome.
- ruich88, on 02/08/2009, -0/+10Lakers needed to get rid of the money vacuum space cadet
- Boing, on 02/08/2009, -0/+6eh... Radmanovic wasn't exactly on Jackson's good side. I don't really see this as a great trade either way. Both teams dumping players that they don't want around. Unless the 'stache lives up to his college game.
- cococrispies, on 02/08/2009, -0/+6kevin love is actually good. how was luke walton overrated? he was a 2nd round draft pick. I assume madson means mark madsen, who was a late first round pick, and hansbrough isnt seen as a viable nba prospect really, probably just an energy guy off the bench. if you insist on talking basketball at least know what youre talking about
- scoottie, on 02/08/2009, -0/+5Lakers are making some cap room
- bigsheldy, on 02/08/2009, -4/+8The Morristache is going to pwn in L.A.
- shamanking911, on 02/08/2009, -0/+4I think the trade was basically for cap room since Lamar Odom becomes an unrestricted free agent after this season. Kupchack would be making a HUGE mistake to not resign him. With all thats said and done, i do hope Lamar wants to come back =(.
- Alanamaslama, on 02/08/2009, -0/+4How are they overrated college players? Just because they aren't great NBA players now (or yet) doesn't take away what they did in their college careers. Is it wrong for players like Love or Hansbrough to average double-doubles--Madsen averaged a near double-double--in college? Of all these players that you've listed and has played more than one year in the NBA, "Big Country" Bryant Reeves had a decent career with the Grizzlies stats-wise (in '98 he averaged 16 pts, 8 rebounds and 1 block per game), it's just his body that gave out in the end. The Morrison pick was a well-recognized gamble in the lottery, but Madsen was picked 29th overall and Walton was drafted in the 2nd round.
- Pake, on 02/08/2009, -0/+3They need to just shut the Bobcats down and force the owners to pay us in Mecklenburg back for wasting our money so that a ***** basketball team could have a new arena when the old Hornets one would have been just fine until they could prove they wouldn't suck balls.
- Kevinok, on 02/08/2009, -0/+3Yeah that was the first thing that came to mind. I guess he best not go near Jordan Farmar.
- sizzzzlerz, on 02/08/2009, -0/+3If they wanted a guy with a pornstar 'stache, they could of trolled through the San Fernando valley and found a whole league's worth of guys. They may not be able to make 3's but, when its on the line, they can do the money shot.
- ronllave, on 02/08/2009, -0/+3As a Lakers fan, I'm happy to see vlad go. He is a pretty good 3-point shooter, but he made so many mistakes in every other aspect of the game. It seems like any time the Lakers would start to go on a run, Vlad would come in and do something stupid to kill it.
- Mattwdj, on 02/08/2009, -1/+4I guess with vuajic, odom, and walton and bynum when he gets back. They didnt need the rad man anymore. I doubt morrison gets much playing time. prolly just plays garbage minutes.
- ramzor, on 02/09/2009, -0/+2im very interested to see shannon brown playing for the lakers..
- blaxicopurress, on 02/08/2009, -2/+4not a strong defender, but hey LA has kobe, and he will continue to carry them
- sinfulnation, on 02/08/2009, -0/+2Never question the Mamba.
- scoottie, on 02/08/2009, -0/+2mmm racism
- ngeloh, on 02/08/2009, -0/+1Production started two days ago...
- TitanX13, on 02/10/2009, -0/+1ditto. michael jordon choices in the draft tend to suck
- ramzor, on 02/09/2009, -0/+1its not a dumb trade...vlad rad wasnt being used and there was no reason to keep him around. we get 2 promising young players in return, and some cap space. he will do better on the cats, where he will actually get some minutes. morrison has been blowing this year, and unless he impresses the lakers in practice...he prolly wont see any minutes. i think shannon brown is the sleeper in this trade.
- theprototype, on 02/08/2009, -1/+2that's just awful... I'm just happy that the Blazers passed him up for Brandon Roy.
- TitanX13, on 02/10/2009, -0/+1yea, Odom has a op out next year. probably going to make him a good offer
- inactive, on 02/08/2009, -0/+1Wow you are a true spammer, can't wait when you get banned.
- TomGfromCanada, on 02/08/2009, -1/+2I hate Morrison he is a cry baby.
- SreyaNotfilc, on 02/09/2009, -0/+1LOL, I love it. The Lakers loose to the Bobcats and what do they do? They trade for one of their promising players! That's scouting at it's best. This is an example of "if you can't beat them, join em" mentality.
All kidding aside, I'm glad Rad is going to a team where he can play more. He was having a tough time fitting in this season. And Adam, I can't wait. I would love to see how he can benefit the Lakers. Same for Radmonovic. We salute you Space Cadet! I always loved your rainbow threes! - inactive, on 02/09/2009, -0/+1how about every guy from Duke, regardless of color, before and since Grant Hill
- TitanX13, on 02/10/2009, -0/+1for the lakers it clears up some cap room, but yea i don't see it be overtly good for each team. Charlotte gets a little more size up front. only problem though is rad is a shooter, he'll get a few rebounds, but not much. lakers get a ugh player and emergency back up point guard
- inactive, on 02/09/2009, -0/+1Such a transparent move by Morrison to finally kick-start that porn career in LA
- TitanX13, on 02/10/2009, -0/+1vlad had his bad moment, but i think we got the crappy end of the stick on this one. we get a reserve guard and crappy player, while we give them a person that can make some three's and one in a while play good defense
- TitanX13, on 02/10/2009, -0/+1i wanted him the stay, but it wasn't just his shooting. he would slack on defense forget his assignment leaving a three open or double when he shouldn't or switch and not switch back when you he was supposed too. i doubt morrison will get much play time
- Squaker, on 02/09/2009, -0/+1Dumb trade. Morrison will probably never be good and Radmanovic is just going through a long shooting slump. He'll probably start to shoot well again as soon as he gets to Charlotte.
- baseballstud40, on 02/09/2009, -0/+1I am glad to see Adam Morrison get out of Larry Brown's system. Granted he can't play any defense but when he is confident on offense he still score efficiently!
- inactive, on 02/08/2009, -1/+1I never said they were overrated for college ball--they did perfectly well there.
- jasonlovesyou, on 06/07/2009, -0/+0I'm gonna miss Radmanovic. But he was never really a premiere player. Lakers 2009! oh dont forget to get your flags! http://lakersflags.com
- Nessa4, on 02/28/2009, -0/+0i love the lakers.
hate him though - wakeboardertj, on 02/09/2009, -3/+3good... good. radmanovic was the biggest hack on the team, even worse than the machine. He can't play defense and continually makes bonehead defensive moves that have cost us the game.
- partysan, on 02/08/2009, -2/+1It's Vujacic.
- carolinaws, on 02/08/2009, -2/+1Good riddance to a bad draft pick. Take your wanna-be porn-star mustache back west.
Good to see the Bobcats cleaning house. - inactive, on 02/08/2009, -3/+1kevin love is good? his game consists of open dunks from under the basket or wide open flat footed 8 foot shots. luke walton has trouble converting layups...wow he swings the ball well. hansbrough will be garbage.
- brad2sox, on 02/08/2009, -6/+2I can't believe after having to share some of the spotlight this year Kobe resorted to injuring his own teammate.
- CedarPark, on 02/08/2009, -5/+1I love this trade--as a spurs fan.
- inactive, on 02/08/2009, -9/+1morrison--another overrated college player due to his white skin...cough kevin love, madson, big country, hansbrough, luke walton
