According to three sources, Manny had raised objections to Youkilis throwing equipment around in the dugout after flying deep to center in the fourth inning, and advised him to "cut that (expletive) out. He was particularly mad at Gomes, saying he understood the pitcher and catcher, and that the issue with them "was over" and "just part of baseball", but that Gomes was really trying to hurt him out there.

They almost threw him out of the game for it. Thats why the pitcher pegged him yesterday and it was on purpose. I was there it was the first live brawl i've seen, so exciting!

i agree, Crisp instigated the brawl, he slid into the shortstop hitting him hard in the legs, and he gets hit by a pitch but chooses to rush them mound. he needs to calm down. - PistolPetey, on 06/06/2008, -1/+8What are you talking about?
