- dinuguan, on 09/04/2009, -2/+271I remember this, it's the most unnecessary scene from Cloverfield.
- goeric, on 09/04/2009, -3/+160The best part was when he yelled "heads up" to the Angels player who almost got hit with the next ball.
- llama5492, on 09/04/2009, -1/+135This guy's name is Bobby Crosby. He is a die hard Dodgers fan and runs a youtube channel called Dodgerfilms:
http://www.youtube.com/user/dodgerfilms
He films all of the big moments that go on during Dodger games and puts them up on YouTube. He makes great vids.

Also, he was featured on CNN:

It's definitely real. - crazzy88ss, on 09/04/2009, -2/+51Wow I totally forgot about that movie.
- twodollars, on 09/05/2009, -5/+54That was awesome, but the comment fishing on the part of the cameraman was kinda douchey.
- kirb59y, on 09/04/2009, -2/+49Impressing Torii Hunter with a catch? Priceless.
- inactive, on 09/05/2009, -4/+45^^ we all did...
- lolwtferic, on 09/05/2009, -1/+42This is actually MLB 2K10's new First Person Baseball mode.
- NYankee2003, on 09/04/2009, -1/+35WOW!!! almost like... an outfielder....
- BobbyCrosby, on 09/05/2009, -1/+24Hey, this is my video. Check my profile to see that my one submitted topic was this same video over a year ago. Only got 8 diggs because of a boring title. I wish I put it on break.com and made some money off this, but I didn't realize it would be so popular and there's the issue of Major League Baseball technically owning any footage shot at Dodger Stadium, so I haven't wanted to risk getting in trouble for trying to monetize that. As someone else mentioned, my YouTube account (dodgerfilms) has a playlist showing 17 catches like this, including one from a couple days ago --
http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=7704ABC0DB ... - celerityfm, on 09/05/2009, -0/+19Holy crap this is just ONE of his 17 catch videos of him filming himself catching home run balls- badass! http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=7704ABC0DB ...
- Insightful, on 09/04/2009, -6/+24Awesome. Too bad he's a nice guy and yelled heads up otherwise he could have got on film a MLBer bonked on the head with a fly ball!
- jordanlgta, on 09/05/2009, -10/+26What? Cloverfield wasn't a four star movie but it was excellent. If you saw it in a ***** theater with crappy speakers and a smaller screen then I can easily understand why you didn't love it. The movie was meant to be seen on a huge screen. It's so popular to talk about the shakiness of the camera...but to me it's the sign of a ***** *****.
- KingBroseph, on 09/05/2009, -1/+17Wow, no wonder Bobby Crosby of the A's sucks. He's a Dodgers fan.
- shamos, on 09/05/2009, -1/+16PUT IT ON YOUTUBE!!
- Sil369, on 09/04/2009, -9/+22WOW a person with a video camera at a baseball game, i want to grow up to become just like him!
- GreenChaos, on 09/05/2009, -0/+12They are both essentially wrong. His Canon HG10 doesn't use film OR tape.
- dhughes, on 09/05/2009, -0/+12Dodge the *****.
- adamward, on 09/05/2009, -0/+11That's pretty damn impressive.
- themastersb, on 09/05/2009, -1/+10aye eh?
- flossdaily, on 09/05/2009, -7/+15You know that a four star movie MEANS that it's excellent, right? So when you say it wasn't a four star movie, but it was excellent, you are contradicting yourself.
At the same time, the fact that the whole thing was supposed to be filmed on a hand-held camcorder means that the most authentic way to see the movie is on a crappy screen with lousy audio, not a big screen as you suggested.
Essentially I'm saying I don't like you. - BobbyCrosby, on 09/05/2009, -0/+7If you mean the guy who filmed this video, yes I am, hello. I wish I put it on break.com, though, instead of some other loser.
- christof53, on 09/05/2009, -2/+8HEADS UP!!!!
- elicash55, on 09/05/2009, -1/+7jordanlgta AKA J.J. Abrams

- piccolan, on 09/05/2009, -1/+4That's because he is douchey alot of the time. Trust me...

- Myonosken, on 09/05/2009, -0/+3He does have a fair point given it starts off with a focused shot of "Batting practice sponsored by..."
- zwendkos, on 09/05/2009, -0/+2Another good one from this guy:
http://digg.com/baseball/Male_Giants_Fan_Threatens ... - richlizard24, on 09/05/2009, -1/+3Yeah, no it doesn't.

- Th3Wh1teRabb1t, on 09/10/2009, -0/+2not sure if you'll see this, but what you said made me laugh out loud
- bumkz, on 09/05/2009, -0/+2I LIKE BASEBALL
- BobbyCrosby, on 09/13/2009, -0/+1And just to be clear, when I say they've told me to stop filming, I just mean random security guards or ushers who don't know that I put the videos on YouTube or anything.
- Plower, on 09/16/2009, -0/+1Sounds like Topher Grace (Eric from that 70's show)
- OasisR123, on 09/16/2009, -0/+1http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cYj0Ry6A9M
- misternils, on 09/17/2009, -0/+1Love the mainstream news... an entire two minute spot just on rand people catching baseballs.
- MeccaYdna, on 09/05/2009, -0/+1he cut the part where baseball officials cut the tape for disseminating an unlicensed broadcast
- BobbyCrosby, on 09/13/2009, -0/+1They might not "own" it, but I obviously am not supposed to make money off it. Read the back of your ticket. You can't transmit or aid in transmitting any information about the game, including pre and post-game activities, including any picture, video, or audio (among other things) about the game. They obviously allow tons of stuff like that, but I don't want to risk them stopping me from filming if I tried to make a few bucks off my videos. Didn't realize how many bucks I could have made, though. Many times they've told me to stop filming already (there are conflicting rules about it), so I don't want it to become an issue.
- enforcerpsu, on 09/08/2009, -0/+1This COULD have been really funny. Oh well, the internet is already filled with ridiculous videos of people getting hurt that this is a nice change of pace.
- DirtPile, on 09/05/2009, -0/+1whirrr
- s5demigh, on 09/18/2009, -0/+1Dodge ***** out get of ers
- Cglass, on 09/05/2009, -0/+1I'd play that.
- ObeseSnake, on 09/05/2009, -0/+1It's on the Blu-ray under the deleted scene section.
