- SnapETom, on 07/08/2008, -2/+10Is this supposed to be humor? I'm a huge baseball fan, but this didn't illicit even a chuckle.
- rjhomuth, on 07/08/2008, -0/+4***** goats.
- bullox, on 07/08/2008, -1/+5After the Brewers got CC, the Cubs better go for Sandy Koufax too.
- Bkaufman, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3I'd prefer 1999 Pedro Martinez Please.
- ViperCTW, on 07/08/2008, -2/+5When someone says "word on the street" involving the Cubs I immediately think "some drunk dude taking a leak in an alley off Clark"
- emdub, on 07/08/2008, -1/+4You're also a huge tool. The word is ELICIT and the article was funny, even to a Cubs fan like me.
- itsmrchris, on 07/08/2008, -0/+2may as well hire the 1988 Dodgers Kirk Gibson to come in and hit the magical game 7 HR too
- Theredchannels, on 11/13/2009, -0/+1So the Cubs really need to pick things up next season. The biggest problem is not Bradley but the hitting overall. Pitching is better than adequate but they still need to get a decent closer. Unless miracles happen Marmol will never be a sustainable closer. - MixMastaKooz, on 07/08/2008, -1/+2Damn Right! The Cubs are going to choke as usual. It's as predictable as the sunset.
- holtzdoggy, on 07/08/2008, -5/+6Even with 1988 Orel Hershiser, 1985 John Tudor, 1995 Greg Maddux, and 1999 Pedro Martinez, the Cubs would still find a way to choke.
- dannyrogers, on 08/02/2008, -0/+1Let me know if you want to cross link with my company's fantasy sports and handicapping website http://www.novasportspicks.com/index.html. We can easily add your link to our site to help you generate more legitimate hits to your site. We are averaging about 1700 hits a day. Let me know -Danny Rogers

- SnapETom, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1buried you for being a pathetic cubs fan. Probably a bandwagonner too, but most important, being fat lazy white trash like all cubs fans.
- VaporBro, on 07/08/2008, -3/+3Gypsy: Morning, Mike!
Mike: Oh, morning, Gypsy. What do you got for me?
Gypsy: Oxygen-nitrogen mix is within required standards. We are currently in low-orbit over southern Madagascar. And that wonderful smell is a lamb roast I have in the oven!
Mike: And sweet yams?
Gypsy: Affirmative! Oh, and I compiled today's wire service reports. Here's a hard copy. The Cubs lost again. - jgs6, on 07/08/2008, -4/+4Cubs are consistent... Consistently sucked for 100 years.
- dmanmax99, on 07/08/2008, -6/+6Cubs: Losers in the last century and losers for the next.
- Hetman, on 07/08/2008, -3/+3I am pissed that the brewers got C.C. We just need one more good pitcher to seal the deal.
- flip2trip, on 07/08/2008, -3/+3Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago whattaya say, the Cubs are going to win today!
- mccarron, on 07/08/2008, -4/+4That was great! I guess since the Brewers got C.C. building a time machine and getting Orel from 1988 is our best bet. ;)
Go Cubs! - gkiltz, on 07/08/2008, -1/+1As a long-time Cardinals fan, I don't know anyone who is not either a Yankees or Red Sox fan who would not quietly pull for them if they went to the Series!
The Cards have been there, and will be back! It's just the Cub's Turn!
A century is long enough! - quaktastic, on 07/08/2008, -0/+0I'd settle for Mitch Williams instead of Kerry Wood.
- Jpardue, on 07/08/2008, -6/+4Cubs FTW!
- lalolost, on 07/08/2008, -8/+5GO WHITE SOX
- S7aind, on 07/08/2008, -8/+5Go Cardinals
- osko2052, on 07/08/2008, -8/+4Buried, cubs will lose again. Go White Sox!
