- Newsdude, on 07/04/2008, -2/+88150 MPH?? Hard to believe. At any case, they definitely were "stretching" their luck
- dankoleary, on 07/04/2008, -4/+79I did a way better job in GTA4.
- SteveMTyler, on 07/04/2008, -1/+57damn it...now viacom knows I watched this. I bet their free data goes straight to marketing....
- badwithcomputer, on 07/04/2008, -3/+58I'm fearing this trend of puns might escalade.
- wildfire, on 07/04/2008, -3/+51Looks like it's steering that way.
- bronowiczj, on 07/04/2008, -0/+44and then your alarm clock woke you up right?
- MikeSD34, on 07/04/2008, -3/+43We really need to put the brakes on this one.
- eliot2000, on 07/04/2008, -0/+38I love how at the end of these, the narrator always gives a quick review of what's happened, in case something happened you didn't quite understand.
- brad3378, on 07/04/2008, -0/+35He was stretching his luck, but he had a backup plan.
- pauls88, on 07/04/2008, -1/+35he's looking at a long stretch in jail
im so sorry - diizy, on 07/04/2008, -1/+28Oh god these puns always tyre me out.
- domomike, on 07/04/2008, -3/+29150? Give me a break. Aren't there any other motorheads out there? A stretched limo will not go 150 mph and it will not be able to handle well at any speed nearing 110 mph due to its long chassis that is not rigid enough to work properly at those speeds.
For reference: A non-stretched, half million dollar, 500 bhp, 738 lb-ft Bentley Arnage T tops out at 179 mph. I'd like to see a STRETCHED Cadillac some anywhere even close to that... - Kakemonstere, on 07/04/2008, -1/+26You can't cope with the speed?
- wickensworth, on 07/04/2008, -0/+24Best prom ever
- rjc5056, on 07/04/2008, -0/+23"shady chauffeur"
- neoform, on 07/04/2008, -1/+19Unless the other cars on the road were doing 90-100mph, that limo wasn't doing 120-150mph..
- pingpants, on 07/04/2008, -2/+20"million dollar ride in the hands of a two-bit outlaw"
- JordonOverElo, on 07/04/2008, -4/+19I got up to 170 last night on my scooter...
- jts8, on 07/04/2008, -1/+16I wonder how fast he topped out at when the transmission blew?
- rjc5056, on 07/04/2008, -1/+15I woulda bet money that it was Chev Chelios behind the wheel. And yes, that was a "Crank" reference. Bury away.
- grantmoore3d, on 07/05/2008, -0/+14These puns are really starting to fuel my anger.
- inactive, on 07/04/2008, -0/+13stay tuned for when keeping it real goes wrong
- farlito101, on 07/04/2008, -0/+13"He was certainly very talented in his driving abilities, that's for sure"
- ThatGeek, on 07/04/2008, -4/+14couldnt you tell? it didnt work at 150 mph
in case you hadnt noticed, the transmission blew - itsradBrad, on 07/04/2008, -0/+9Perhaps they don't know the difference between kilometers per hour and mph.
- Aursquared, on 07/04/2008, -3/+10lol cars
- inactive, on 07/04/2008, -0/+7The sound effects in those police chase shows are incredibly annoying. Only thing missing to make it even more ridiculous is Batman style graphics over the screen: Pow! Whamm! Kapow! Zzzzzwap!
- punkcat, on 07/04/2008, -0/+7the outwitted outlaw
- GoGoPoCoSo, on 07/04/2008, -0/+6classy chase.
- EmperorAwesome, on 07/05/2008, -0/+6All I want to see is a car chase where the guy gets away. These things are always so depressing.
- bitmanx, on 07/05/2008, -0/+6I'd like to see Geico save him $$$ on his insurance now...
- FrankTheTank17, on 07/04/2008, -1/+7couldnt you tell? unless the flow of traffic was 100+mph, the limo wasn't going 150, he wasn't blowing by people that easily.
- ASSASSYN360, on 07/04/2008, -0/+6If I ever run from the police. I better have killed 10 people and robbed a bank. But, I never would run for not having my driver license!
- peterpeterpan, on 07/04/2008, -4/+9wheeeeeeeeeeee
- Uberwon, on 07/05/2008, -1/+6ok seriously you can stop now, its driving me crazy.
- Kakemonstere, on 07/04/2008, -0/+5I always thought that if you're running away from the police you should not try to get away by car, but instead know a good place to get out and hide from them and then sneak away.
- growlands, on 07/04/2008, -0/+5That would have been an amazing ride if you were in the back!
- praetoriansword, on 07/05/2008, -0/+4That's why I stopped watching Cops. When I was 10 it was so exciting and I always rooted for the bad guy because he never got away and I wanted to see it happen just once. Then I realized they would never show an episode where he got away...so I stopped watching it. Oh yea, ***** viacom.
- dvicklund, on 07/04/2008, -6/+10License and registration... Chicken *****? BUH-GAWWWK!!!
- AROZ, on 07/05/2008, -0/+4Yeah, that narrative itself was entertaining.
- TacticalPenguin, on 07/04/2008, -0/+4i hear they have these new animals called dogs
- kdesu, on 07/05/2008, -0/+4From the looks of it, it's a Cadillac CTS. I'd really expect it to be electronically limited to 120-ish mph, so 150 mph is definitely bogus (though 150 kph is 93 mph, which is more believable).
The Cadillac CTS-V is no slouch though. The new supercharged V8 is rumored to hit 190 mph :) - grantmoore3d, on 07/05/2008, -1/+5You'd be surprised what a car can do when you mash your foot to the floor and don't worry about the consequences
- leakus, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3It is funny you say that, because I clicked a random link of the realted videos on youtube and I believe this one is from the Netherlands. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alzZ7Ix8pm4&feature ...
Sorry for the horrible back ground music. - inactive, on 07/05/2008, -0/+3That was some great driving
- KMartSheriff, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3I liked Crank. Dugg.
- fuzzybeard, on 07/05/2008, -0/+2OK, I'll give you that. *BUT* the weight change is permanent. Also, at least with the vehicles I have driven, the conversions done to sedans usually don't include an upgraded/uprated engine or an upgraded cooling system.
Short version is: During the height of wedding season (Mid-May through Labor Day) it was a challenge to keep the car from overheating while waiting on the wedding party. People look at you rather oddly if you're idling in front of a church with your hood up to vent as much heat as possible from the engine.
Battery and charging systems are another big headache in the summertime. Heat and the additional hotel load from the back can kill a battery (batteries if you're lucky) and an alternator quickly. That's why up front the driver has master and override controls for the equipment in back.
Add the weight of 10 people raring to have a good time, 60 pounds of ice, the weight of the booze...there was a reason all the drivers where I worked had the number of our towing contractor and the owner's private line on speed-dial on their cell phones. - itstodd, on 01/08/2009, -0/+2and he hasn't even been sworn in yet...
