- racheline, on 03/16/2008, -0/+2Totally true, I'm just using the media outlets I have open to me, and IllusionTV is an on-demand network for SF/F programming, hence the angle.
- wysiwygd, on 03/18/2008, -0/+2It doesn't really matter whether they're all fannish or not, now does it? Fandom doesn't exist in a vacuum and a lot of people interested in those other things are interested in fanfiction as well. It doesn't matter who is being targeted and censored out of the list, it's WRONG!
- khriskin, on 03/17/2008, -1/+2Ah, the whitewashing of the internet, dontchaloveit. *mutters* ... *joins the March 21st One-Day Content Strike*
- kiiabby, on 03/19/2008, -0/+1Disgusting behaviour on SUP's part and yet again, another sign of complete disregard for the people that make LJ what it is. Are they really so stupid that they can't see that LJ is nothing without their users and it will NEVER be able to compete with Facebook etc. People use LJ for completely different reasons.
I'm in support of the content strike... although I post very little nowdays. It makes me sad to see such a diverse website that I've been a part of for 6 years turn to ***** :( - embeast, on 03/16/2008, -0/+1****
Sorry it should read fanFICTION up above. - jamoche, on 03/16/2008, -0/+1I just added some of those, along with "banned interests" and "censorship".

- embeast, on 03/16/2008, -0/+0I agree; it didn't occur to me to change the heading from what the article's heading was!
- ataniell93, on 03/16/2008, -1/+0I'm proud to be a member of fandom, but most of those things aren't fannish: fandom and fanfiction are, but not depression, bisexuality and bondage! This is about more than just fandom--this is about the things real people are really interested in, vs. the Family-Friendly Mafiosi who want to disney-fy and babyproof the whole bloody internet.
