- robertnealan, on 03/23/2009, -0/+7HDR doesn't automatically make a photograph stunning.
Give me a gallery with photographs that were great to begin with and don't use editing to make them look completely digitally altered. - suprxtragrav, on 03/23/2009, -0/+6***** HDR
- EMFK, on 03/22/2009, -1/+7Beautiful.
- daeus, on 03/23/2009, -0/+5I like the shots taken from clever angles/perspectives but the ones that are just HDR are just HDR.
- gothicform, on 03/23/2009, -0/+5It should be called 50 Examples Of Over-Processed HDR Abstract Architecture Photography.
With architecture, HDR creates unreal textures that do not actually exist in the buildings by mistaking light reflection and refraction for textured surfaces. I HATE HDR. - shalvak2, on 03/23/2009, -0/+3Shots are really good, but too much Photoshop in some of these...
- Inaktivist, on 03/23/2009, -1/+4I'm always a little skeptical when I see a "Best _____ Photos" link on digg but there are some really spectacular shots here.
- skotski, on 03/23/2009, -0/+3Yeah, me too... I've been staring at them for about a half an hour, just eating cheetos and drinking YooHoo...Oh, STUNNED. Yeah, that too.
- Scott83k, on 03/23/2009, -1/+3Yeah.... im glad I wasn't the only one...
- inactive, on 03/23/2009, -0/+2The 18-55 VR is a solid performer for under a couple hundred bucks. Don't get inflicted with Nikon Addiction Syndrome...It's how I ended up with a D700 and Nikon 24-70 :(
- 68024, on 03/24/2009, -0/+2These things have the been photoshopped to crap.
- Kyderdog, on 03/23/2009, -1/+3Same old ***** that has been around for years.... I just undug it
- phylum, on 03/23/2009, -0/+1sometimes i wish we would go back to the architecture of the past which although more labor intensive ,they had a lot more pride in their work and the satisfaction of it being admired as apposed to a glass enclosure.
- FLarsen, on 03/24/2009, -0/+1This guy's either an idiot or a troll.
- aronnyc, on 03/23/2009, -1/+2Gorgeous. Does anyone have a list of all the buildings on the photos?
- DaltonZ, on 03/23/2009, -1/+2I would say many of those are not spectacular because of the photography itself, bur rather as a function of the architecture. I'd much rather a few of those be cut out or substituted for photos that are more interesting because of the framing or techniques used in the photography as opposed to the amazing architecture. Or at least modify the title a bit.
Then again, I may just be anal. - harshagarwal5, on 03/23/2009, -1/+2its simply amazing!!
- Twoodge, on 03/23/2009, -0/+1Ah, I only got flashbanged.
- vorado, on 03/23/2009, -0/+1Both old and new architecture photos have such character - my favorite was http://1x.com/photos/architecture/22102/.
- lordpookdai, on 03/23/2009, -1/+2I may have dugg if the "originals" were actually large enough res to look at detail...or to set as a wallpaper. some cool looking shots though.
- brian78347, on 09/16/2009, -0/+1Inspiring. I'll include these with my other collection of ideas when I'm ready to build my house and move out of this apartment.
- shanemorginn, on 06/15/2009, -0/+1For those not paying attention, you can click on the pictures for artist, title and location information. There were a few that were touristy, but several I liked, Winter Arms, Defense Reflection, and Behind Bars among them. I don't know anything about HDR though; I just like the end products.
- theforelements, on 03/23/2009, -1/+2No. These are just good photos, with hours of added post production. Pictures don't come out like these.
- architectsjrnl, on 10/19/2009, -0/+0For more information and architecture news become the architectsjrnl friend!
- tsjirp, on 03/23/2009, -0/+0Any idea where we can find more large size photos of this series?
- jaygeeze, on 03/23/2009, -2/+2These images stunned me like a stun gun. So stunningly stunning! We're a bunch of stunned diggers! I want to get up from the couch to get a glass of water, but I'm stunned.

- inactive, on 03/23/2009, -2/+1Amazing. I really need to invest in a nice wide angle lens for my Nikon D40.
- inactive, on 03/23/2009, -5/+0Politician's only have to be good at one thing and that one things is getting elected. They do not have to be good at spending tax payers money or at problem solving.
Next Time you vote for someone make sure they have done something in there life beside when to law school. Vote for someone that has built a successful business or something - Licurgo, on 03/23/2009, -7/+1God is an Architect
- flatpyramid3d, on 03/23/2009, -8/+2Beautiful? Hey folks these are 3d models of the actual structures, rendered to look beautiful, not the actual thing
